The reunion really gives you an idea of just how great (and unappreciated) the show was. It obviously didn't get the recognition it deserved - it was cancelled after only two and a half seasons - but the reunion is as hilarious as it is wistful.
In what might be the best news of all time, cult classic Arrested Development will return to television for another season, followed by the heavily rumored feature film.
We last left American hero Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) in quite a predicament. His evil ex-wife, Tammy 1 (Patricia Clarkson), has returned with the news that Ron is being audited by the IRS. It's serious stuff, but Leslie (Amy Poehler) needs him for Pawnee's annual "battle royale," when all the government departments get together and argue over budgets. Ron is unsurprisingly the Parks Department's secret weapon.
Granted, some of Cook's material is funny, but most of it is way too raunchy to translate to a network sitcom, and I really don't think he's going to fit in with the rest of NBC's comedy lineup (once Whitney gets cancelled, that is).
Both director Paul Feig and breakout star Melissa McCarthy have expressed interest in a sequel, but who knows if it will happen without Wiig, who also co-wrote the film.
The trailer reviews a handful of the film's vignettes. Holiday grump Ashton Kutcher gets stuck in an elevator with cheery Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker tries to control her unruly daughter, Abigail Breslin, Jessica Biel and Seth Meyers are having a baby and Zefron seems to have a thing going on with Michelle Pfieffer. The best part is that Hilary Swank is dating Ludacris.
The Twilight actress will be giving the fairy tale princess a whole new image in Rupert Sanders' vision of the film. Instead of a scared girl lost in the woods, Snow White will be a dark, gritty action hero. Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron will co-star.
The trailer tells the story of a family's vacation, which is abruptly cut short by the appearance of a hoard of the undead. The family's young daughter is quickly turned, and the trailer follows her attack on her family and eventual death. It created such an emotional response among the gaming community that many declared it to be the best game trailer they had ever seen.
The actor is starring in two more films, Gangster Squad, in which he'll play a 1950s' police sergeant keeping the mob out of Los Angeles, and Nicolas Winding Refn's next project, God Only Knows, a movie about a British gangster out for the blood of a Thai ex-cop.
