If you've ever looked at the PlayStation Move remote and hoped to wield it like a magic wand, Sony most definitely has you covered. The electronics giant will soon be releasing Sorcery, a motion game that has been in the works for a while now. Its goal is to make seasoned gamers, children and newcomers, feel like powerful spell-casters. I recently enrolled in magic school, in order to see how that dream has been turned into digital entertainment, and I'm happy to report that the results are very positive.

Mac And PC Users Can Now Create Their Own Portal 2 Test Chambers
Test chamber puzzle addicts can now put their creative passion and design skills to use, thanks to Valve's latest Portal 2 update. The company just announced that the game's Perpetual Testing Initiative is now available, introducing an easy-to-use creation system, which will also allow for community level sharing. It's seemingly exclusive to the PC/Mac versions of said 2011 Game of the Year contender.

Game Of Thrones Hands-On Preview
The literary world is full of fans of George R. R. Martin's fantastical A Song Of Ice and Fire series. Mixing political intrigue with dark creatures, dastardly plans and war, the books have cemented themselves as part of the genre's elite. As a result, it's no surprise that executives from other mediums saw the mature intellectual property as a great fit for their television and interactive designs. After all, that's how HBO's audience was blessed with the incredibly well-made and hard-hitting Game of Thrones television series, which is based on Martin's work. Not only that - it's for that very reason that the gaming community will be receiving a lengthy and authentic role-playing game based upon, and titled after, that same novel. It's destined for release on May 15.

Is Ubisoft Working On A Video Game Tie-In To The Avengers?
Taking into consideration the long-served licensing relationship that the video game industry has shared with Hollywood, it was surprising to note that The Avengers debuted in theatres without any sign of a complementary video game release. Sure, there's a 'freemium' Facebook game, but nothing for our favourite consoles and handhelds. At least, that's how it seemed.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – Bodarks: A Threat To Ghosts Trailer
At the beginning of Ubisoft's latest and most ominous trailer for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, a text description listing two different types of werewolves appears. The screen is then taken up by an agitated Russian prisoner who's been noticeably interrogated. His ramblings, combined with the aforementioned descriptions and Ghost soldier dialogue, paint the man as a Bodark.

German Game Of Thrones Gameplay Preview
A new, four minute-long gameplay preview for Cyanide Studio's soon-to-be-released Game of Thrones RPG has hit the Internet. Despite being visually-informative and interesting-looking, the entire thing happens to be narrated in German. That's OK, however, as it's not too difficult to understand what's going on. The person controlling the demo cycles through its inventory menus a couple of times, and also takes part in a castle-based battle. During that segment, the game's advertised option to slow-down time is put to work.

Thankfully, Agent 47 and his digital bar code are old hats when it comes to dressing up.
