This March is going to be a month full of nightmarish dreams, disturbing imagery and grotesque visualizations. Why, you ask? Konami has decided to turn it into the month of Silent Hill.
Today marks the release of new screenshots for Cyanide Studio's upcoming Game of Thrones video game. Taking the form of an action RPG, it will allow fans of George R. R. Martin's famous book series to fight against those who threaten the thrown and its values. Honor, deception, swordplay and murder are not strangers towards this world, which makes it a great license for this style of game.
Today, SEGA released a brand new trailer for Binary Domain - its upcoming sci-fi third-person shooter. Entitled, Bigger Than You Think, the video showcases some complex story elements from a game that looks to meld war, stealth, political intrigue and robots.
Are you ready for some Genkibowl VII action? According to the latest trailer for the first major piece of Saints Row: The Third DLC, the answer is no. Then again, it's doubtful that the world would ever be ready for the super unethical awesome and outrageous action which it will bestow upon us. Professor Genki, the giant pink mascot cat, has a mind that has wandered into the realm of insanity, and his 'sports' extravaganza follows that same formula.
If you're interested in pre-ordering Asura's Wrath, then you'll definitely be interested in hearing about its Capcom Store bonus item. A quick reminder to all of the diehard role-playing game fans out there: Square Enix has released its Final Fantasy XIII-2 demo onto both Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network.
Thanks to Major Nelson, we now know that a Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo will be released onto Xbox LIVE on January 17. That's just one week from today. No word was issued regarding PSN or PC demos, but it's safe to assume that they will also be released at or around the same time.
Major Nelson's latest update has revealed a nice assortment of content, which is scheduled to hit the Xbox LIVE Marketplace in the very near future. It's great news for gamers who own and regularly play titles like Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012, Gears of War 3 and, one of my personal favourites, Saints Row: The Third.
This friendly public service announcement is to let you know that the Asura's Wrath demo is now available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. A PlayStation Network release should follow later today, when that service receives its routine update.
We will have to wait a little while longer to enlist into the futuristic war zone that is Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The first-person shooter has been delayed once again, from its previously announced March 6 launch date. It will now be released in North America on May 22, with a European release following two days later (May 24). The game will only be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at that point.
