This friendly public service announcement is to let you know that the Asura’s Wrath demo is now available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. A PlayStation Network release should follow later today, when that service receives its routine update.

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting a chance to check out the action-packed title, then this is certainly your chance. It’s also a great stress reliever, for those who may be having a bad day.

Asura’s Wrath will be available in full on February 21. That is when you can look forward to purchasing it for your PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

You can read on for the demo’s official press release. However, keep in mind that the listed Xbox LIVE release date seems to be incorrect. A quick glance at its Marketplace shows that the demo is available as a gold member exclusive.

Feeling angry? Having a bad day? Then unleash that rage with the official demo for Asura’s Wrath, available today on PlayStation Network, and tomorrow January 11 on Xbox LIVEin North America.

Introducing a brand new style of game, players will control Asura in a blend of action and cinematic sequences, delivering a fresh take on the genre. Download the demo and face off against distinct enemies in two episodes from the game. Meet the planetary sized boss Wyzen and Asura’s old mentor Augus on this journey for revenge against each of the eight deities who betrayed Asura 12,000 years ago. Execute a mix of range attacks and visceral close quarters action to fill Asura’s ‘Burst Gauge,’ unleashing the full forces of his rage and devastation.

Asura’s Wrath will be available in North America on February 21 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
