NHL 12 Review
Now that summer has exerted her last breath, a chill has hit the air. Although this noticeable change is an obvious precursor to a lengthy and cold winter, it also brings with it some great news. Hockey season is about to begin, which should keep us warm, excited and interested throughout the dreary snow-filled months. There's a lot to look forward to, including the return of a past superstar in Jaromir Jagr, the emergence of high draft picks like Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and hopefully a better performance from my Toronto Maple Leafs. With the release of NHL 12, armchair sports fans can make these events magical, as they interact digitally with their favourite league.

Multiply For The Greater Good In Kirby Mass Attack
What's more effective than one pink blob named Kirby? Ten of him. Imagining the vacuum power which a group that size would have is tough. Needless to say, it'd be a lot like a tropical force wind. Luckily, we don't have to worry about that in real life, though the pink blob's foes in Kirby Mass Attack do need to run for cover. It's the latest release in the popular Nintendo series, available now for the Nintendo DS.

Rugby World Cup 2011 Review
Aiming to win the Webb Ellis Cup, the international rugby community has descended upon New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup 2011 tournament. The focus is on the hometown team, though fans and competitors from all around the world have made their way over there to participate in the festivities. This includes Canada and the United States - two countries who are not powerhouses in that particular sport, though the North American programs have continued to improve. For fans of my home nation and our neighbours to the south, it's just nice to be able to watch them participate against challenging opposition on the world's biggest stage.

Renegade Ops Review
Taking a stroll down your local video store's well-trampled aisles, you'll surely come across at least a hundred cheesy action movies. Even though they lack polish, budgets and stars, many people flock to those types of films for a mindless watch. Getting together with a bunch of friends is sometimes more fun with a terrible or poorly made movie on to laugh at, amidst cocktails and jokes. Of course, this also applies to video games at times, as they occasionally attempt to mimic this phenomenon with terribly written dialogue and over-acted performances. The latest interactive product to go this route is Renegade Ops from Avalanche Studios. It's an action-packed game, which is terribly cheesy with some decent quality under its hood, unlike a lot of those aforementioned action movies.
