Driver: San Francisco Delayed A Week
Virtual drivers will have to daydream about speeding through the virtual streets of San Francisco, California, for just one more week. That's because Ubisoft has officially commented upon a delay for Driver: San Francisco. The racing title and all of its vehicular shifting will now release in North America on September 6 - one week later than originally planned.

Nintendo of America today announced plans to drop the suggested retail price of its portable Nintendo 3DS system to $169.99 in North America, as new games based on some of the world's most beloved video game franchises head to the system. The new price, down from the suggested launch price of $249.99 and effective Aug. 12, makes an outstanding value even better and sets up a strong holiday season for the system.

Cowboys & Aliens Review
Western films used to be one of the top genres around. Now, we rarely ever see any and it's a shame. It's been said that they aren't financially successful in today's motion picture marketplace, with all of the crowds flocking to see digitally enhanced blockbusters at their local multiplexes instead. Last year's True Grit remake certainly proved that westerns can still pack quite a punch despite their dated structures, and it would be great to see more of them. The latest film to try to tackle the dusty old west is this week's big release, Cowboys and Aliens.

THQ Is Disappointed By Its Recent Releases, Cancels Red Faction
Due to disappointing sales numbers and review scores for their three most recent retail releases, video game developer/publisher THQ has decided to stir up its internal pot. The most notable change is the cancellation of the Red Faction series, after sales of Red Faction: Armageddon failed to impress. The companies' CEO, Brian Farrell, confirmed this news during a very recent investor call.

From Dust Review
Most people would admit that they've had daydreams about being a god or ruling over a world of some sort, in one fashion or another. Things would run the way they'd like and hopefully their intentions would be genuine and innocent. Since we don't have that opportunity, Ubisoft Montpellier went hard to work in creating something similar in video game form. The finished product is From Dust, a game where you get to control the elements to help a primitive tribal civilization spread, protect itself and flourish. Let the god-like daydreams flourish in virtual space.

Sheriff Lonestar Joins The Awesomenauts
You've hopefully heard about Awesomenauts. If not, then you're in for a treat. It's an online battle arena game which takes its cues from 1980s Saturday morning cartoons, with all of their personality and creativity. Using a cel-shaded look, players must take to the arena in order to blast their way through the enemy team's defenses. Think of something along the lines of League of Legends, except with much more of an eighties cartoon look and a 2D form.

They're not sure of which default look they should use for the female version of Commander Shepard in Mass Effect 3, so they've taken to Facebook to begin a voting process. Map Sizes Were Altered For Console Versions of Battlefield 3
The console version of Battlefield 3 will ship with more compact multiplayer maps than its PC counterpart. Although it won't be a drastic change in size, according to DICE Executive Producer Patrick Bach. During an interview with Gamezone.de (which has been translated by CVG), Bach talked about some of the changes that were made to the console version's multiplayer component. He stressed that some compromises had to be made in order to make it the best possible experience for console gamers. One of those would be the twenty-four player limit that was mentioned a while back.

Double Dragon 2 Gets A Radical Makeover For XBOX Live Arcade
Those of us who grew up playing old-school beat-em ups would be happy to hear that Double Dragon 2 is set to make its way into the new millennium via XBOX Live Arcade. However, the news is a bit strange considering this won't be exactly the same game everyone is familiar with putting tons of quarters into. You see - it's going to be a three-dimensional remake of the arcade game.
