Could Alexandre Aja Be Revisiting Pet Sematary?
Earlier this year, rumors circulated about Paramount's interest in revisiting one of Stephen King's more popular novels, Pet Sematary, which was published in 1983 and turned into a motion picture six years later. After that circulated, things got eerily quiet in regards to the potential remake, though we now have some new information for you. Genre guru Alexandre Aja could be taking the helm to bring this morbid story about reanimated kids and animals back from the grave.

Enlist In The War In the North This November
According to its official Facebook page, we can expect to enlist into Lord of the Rings: The War in the North on November 1. That's the announced release date for those of us in North America at least. It will arrive a day later in Australia and three days later in Europe.

Cars 2: The Video Game Review
Dating back decades, Hollywood and the video game industry have worked together on a multitude of projects. Some have been good and worth playing but a lot of the licensed projects/film companions have failed to achieve success due to short development times, low budgets and poor quality assurance testing. It's a shame considering how many good properties have wilted shortly after blooming in the digital confines of our consoles and monitors. That problem is about to change if Avalanche Software get their collective way.

According to a recent Eurogamer report, Borderlands 2 could be announced in the very near future. The article further mentions a targeted 2012 release window for the much talked about sequel, which they say will release on the XBOX 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

Nintendo Reveals Two More 3DS Ambassador eShop Game Downloads
We previously told you about Nintendo's 3DS Ambassador Program. It will reward those of us who purchased the new device prior to its price drop, by allowing for a bunch of free downloading. Nintendo officially confirmed that there will be twenty exclusive games available for download in the eShop. Half of these titles will be Gameboy Advance games, while the other half will be from the NES era. All of which will be unavailable to new adopters who don't have Ambassador status.

Battlefield 3 Gets A Pre-Order Bonus List
As with the last two entries in the series, DICE and Electronic Arts will be rewarding early adopters who pre-order Battlefield 3, with a free upgrade to the limited edition version. It's a thank you which comes with a pretty nice bonus: a code to download its Back to Karkand downloadable map pack. However, all of this is old news. Sony Bolsters Its Roster By Acquiring Sucker Punch Productions
Bolstering its quality roster of owned development studios, Sony has locked up Sucker Punch Productions. Though the Bellevue, Washington studio has been working with Sony for over ten years, their exclusivity is a done deal, as they're now officially a part of the Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios network. That's great news for all of those who frequent the PlayStation Network via their PSP or PS3.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Delayed Into 2012
It was announced today that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for XBOX 360 will miss its scheduled 2011 release date. The development team at CD Projekt Red shifted the much anticipated release to the first quarter of 2012. As was previously announced, The Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2 is an adaptation of the game to the new platform.

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Review
The Resident Evil series was well known for its pulse-pounding solo survival horror gameplay, with all of its jump scares and creepy atmosphere. However, Capcom struck a bit of a popularity mine when they decided to try to move into co-operative play territory. Thus led to the creation of something a lot of us gamers probably assumed would never make it into the slow-paced series: a separate multiplayer mode known as mercenaries.

New Bleach: Soul Resurrección Trailers Show Off Gravity Defying Combat
With its launch just over a weekend away, NIS America today released two new gameplay trailers for Bleach: Soul Resurrección. The two trailers should excite fans of the anime series, as they show off a lot of insane gravity-defying combat with crisp, hand-drawn visuals. Each one seems to be a look into the mechanics of a separate boss fight, with two foes who vary in very drastic ways.
