Cooperative Play Is Coming to Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet will be adding another spaceship when FuelCell Games rolls out its work in progress downloadable content pack sometime in the future. It will bring a "co-op experience" into the beautiful and interesting puzzle/twin-stick shooter hybrid. While speaking to Eurogamer, FuelCell CEO Joe Olson confirmed this, but couldn't add any more information because development is still in its infancy.

North America and Europe Will Get The PS Vita In 2012
Sony has decided to alter its PlayStation Vita launch schedule plans, going back to what is an earlier claim: that they'll have the new portable system available in "at least one territory" by the end of this year. Based on an AP report, that territory will be Japan. This news was confirmed by SCEI Chairman Kaz Hirai during a press conference in Tokyo, where he mentioned that the system will miss the holiday season in Europe and North America - making it to those regions in 2012 instead.

2K Games Confirms Borderlands 2! Will Release In 2012
Borderlands fanatics rejoice! 2K Games have officially confirmed that Gearbox Software is hard at work on Borderlands 2, which is set for release in 2012. Other than the fact that it will be available for target practice on the PS3, 360 and PC, we don't know too much more. However, there's a professional press release below for your perusal. Purchase Battlefield 3 From Origin And Get Beta Access
Although some other major retailers plan to hand out early access to downloadable content for Battlefield 3, Origin's pre-order bonus is arguably the best. By a long shot, too. You see, they're giving away early access to the game itself. Those who pre-purchase the game via EA's new store will get access to the Battlefield 3 open beta when it goes live in September 2011. Apparently this offer stands for any platform, though we'll keep you updated if we hear more about that.

Rumor: TimeSplitters News Incoming
“Gun-wielding monkeys are making a comeback! A fourth TimeSplitters title is to be announced soon,” the September issue of OPM claims, according to ConnectedConsoles. Hopefully they mean soon as in Gamescom soon, because the gaming world needs some more campy, time-bending shooting. Not to mention monkeys with guns. They've been missed.
