I stopped watching The Simpsons, not because I became bored with it but I didn't have access to a TV when I first joined the military amd I just never picked it back up regularly. I did love the movie though, laughed nearly the entire way through. The success of the first movie would almost guarentee a sequel right? Executive producer, James L. Brooks, stated that a sequel has been given a good amount of thought and that they have already gone over ideas.
Anyone who is into movies knows, without almost any doubt, what a movie produced by FOX means. Stupid, dumbed down, waste of film, memory, whatever. I'm well aware that this is a movie BUSINESS but to be in it just for the money is just wrong and those idiots in charge manage to screw every good thing they have up. It appears I'm not the only one who feels like this either. Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld has fired some shots at the studio on his Twitter account.
Director David Slade, perhaps best known for 30 Days of Night and Twilight: Eclipse, was once a top contender for the directing role on the upcoming film The Wolverine. Apparently, he was almost a lock in, until Aronofsky came along and kind of edged him out of the job. Recently, Slade spoke about how he almost had the directing job. Here is what he had to say.
With news regarding Marc Webb's upcoming Spider-Man reboot picking up, star of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies, Kirsten Dunst, recently commented on the the cancelled fourth Spider-Man movie and the Webb reboot.
According to Danny Trejo, Robert Rodriguez already has the sequel to Machete, Machete 2, written and ready to go.
I had the chance to meet and chat with Danny Trejo during a Screamfest convention back in October. Very cool guy, he chatted with me for a few minutes over the course of the weekend and I told him he needed to jump in Robert Rodriguiz's ass and get the sequel moving, apparently he took my advice. According to Machete himself, the sequel is already written.
The Broadway musical Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark didn't have the reaction they had hoped for when it was shown to a preview audience. Apparently nothing really worked, Spiderman was caught up on the ceiling, props fell down, it was a mess. Check out some of the reactions below.
Many people have their feelings on the Spider-Man reboot. I for one am not too excited about it but I stand behind not judging something before you see it. That being said, the following news just doesn't sit well with me.
Love or hate Michael Bay, you have to admit the man knows action. Say what you want about the Transformers movies I never really understood the backlash regarding them. You knew what you were getting when Michael Bay was announced as the director. As they say, you shouldn’t expect a rack of lamb at MacDonalds.
I was one of the many that sat in the theater, head in hands, as I watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It was a mess of a script, a trash of a story, and served not one purpose in story that is Wolverine. Needless to say, I wasn’t looking forward to the sequel, even when Darren Aronofsky was given the director's chair for the upcoming sequel titled, The Wolverine. That is, until now.
