Danny DeVito Writing Penguin Comic Book For Villain’s 80th Anniversary
All of a sudden, Tim Burton's Batman universe is suddenly everywhere again. Not only is Michael Keaton currently shooting his grand return as the Dark Knight in The Flash movie, DC just kicked off its Batman '89 continuation comic book this very week. And the good news keeps on coming for Burtonverse fans. It's been announced that Oswald Cobblepot himself Danny DeVito is penning a Penguin story for an upcoming Batman comic.

HBO Max’s Batgirl Movie Is Set In The Snyderverse
After years of being stuck in development, Warner Bros. is finally pressing ahead with a Batgirl movie. In The Heights breakout star Leslie Grace has landed the lead role as Barbara Gordon, with Bad Boys For Life directors Adil & Bilall (Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah) behind the camera. Birds of Prey and Bumblebee screenwriter Christina Hodson is providing the script.

Disney Plus Just Quietly Added Two Classic Marvel Movies
Ahead of time, only three new titles were announced to be landing on Disney Plus today. Namely, the latest episode of National Geographic's Shark Attack Files, the season finale of Star Wars: The Bad Batch and 2006 fantasy film Aquamarine. However, without any fanfare, the Mouse House's streaming service has actually just secretly added two classic Marvel movies back to its library this Friday.

Here’s Everything That’s New On Disney Plus Today
Over the past couple of months, Disney Plus has switched up its release schedule. It used to be that the Mouse House's streaming service would only drop new content on Fridays, but following the success of Loki launching on a Wednesday, the platform began moving all of its original TV titles to mid-week. This means that the weekly Friday hauls have become much thinner than they used to be.
