Jackie Chan Breaks The Silence On Coronavirus Quarantine Rumors
The COVID-19 coronavirus has continued its inexorable spread across the world. Major sporting events have been cancelled, public buildings closed and strict quarantines have been established to limit contagion. With governments telling their citizens not to panic, disinformation has been all over the place. I've read that the virus is being "activated" by 5G, that it's an out-of-control Chinese bioweapon and even that it's of extraterrestrial origin. But there's at least one specific piece of disinformation that we can conclusively disprove today: Jackie Chan is not in quarantine.

Halloween Kills Test Screenings Start This Week
2018’s Halloween breathed new life into Michael Myers, making for a critical and box office smash that took the franchise in a fresh direction while paying tribute to its past. Buoyed by its success, Blumhouse quickly commissioned back-to-back sequels: Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. They’ll be released on Halloween 2020 and 2021 and have both now finished shooting. It seems that Halloween Kills is coming along nicely, too, as it's being reported that the movie is deep into post-production and will be ready to start test screenings as soon as this week.

Keanu Reeves Reportedly In Talks To Return As Constantine In DCEU
2005's Constantine was a letdown. Fans of the character were dismayed that the movie ditched John Constantine's British origins in favor of making him American, and beyond that, the film itself simply wasn't particularly good. That said, there were a couple of high points. Peter Stormare and Tilda Swinton were typically excellent as Lucifer and Gabriel and there were some imaginative visual effects. These days, though, it's not talked about much, with the character having received a much better live-action adaptation in The CW's Arrowverse as played by Matt Ryan.

The Internet’s Freaking Out Over Marvel Making Wolverine Gay
Wolverine is gay. Sorry homophobes and bigots, but the adamantium-boned mutant with the killer claws has officially come out of the closet and, for my part, I can't help but applaud his bravery. While I don't see any reason why this should change his personality or future adventures in any way, as a committed Wolverine fan it's at least a relief that his previous predilections for traumatized teenage girls have turned out to be totally innocent. And, in a heartwarming twist, it's looking like Wolvie and Cyclops might be finally confessing their feelings for each other. Adorable!

Johnny Depp Reportedly Eyed To Play The Batman Trilogy’s Joker
Johnny Depp has been rumored for the Joker throughout most of his career. Prior to Heath Ledger being announced as The Dark Knight's Clown Prince of Crime, Depp was a fan favorite for the part (along with Adrian Brody). Now, it seems like this decades-old bit of fan casting might finally bear fruit, as sources close to WGTC - the same ones who said Viola Davis would return for The Suicide Squad and Transformers is being rebooted - have told us that Warner Bros. have begun eyeing actors for the role in sequels to The Batman and Depp is one of the prime candidates for the Joker.

Sunspot Ignites In First New Mutants TV Spot
Six years ago, work began on The New Mutants. Now, amazingly, it's finally heading into cinemas on April 3rd. The film has had a tangled and chaotic path to the screen, with director Josh Boone clashing with the Fox higher-ups about the intensity of the horror elements. This back and forth resulted in planned reshoots and its release date getting pushed further and further back. Then, after the Disney/Fox merger, there was talk that the film might never be released at all.

Marvel Reportedly Wants The Punisher Movie To Be Their Joker
It's not often that you hear of Marvel Studios being envious of something Warner Bros. did, but then again, it's not often you get a film like Joker. The award-winning movie arguably surpassed Avengers: Endgame as the biggest comic book pic of 2019. While Joker didn't make nearly as much money, it had a bigger cultural impact and will certainly be remembered for longer. Now, we're hearing reports that Marvel Studios is looking for something to match it. And what they've apparently decided upon is The Punisher.

What Could The Star Wars: The High Republic Movies Look Like?
Lucasfilm has high hopes for The High Republic. Their new Star Wars line, set 200 years before The Phantom Menace, gives their creative teams a blank slate to work with. We'll get our first full look when the inaugural novel, Charles Soule's Light of the Jedi hits shelves on August 25th, but right now we have a pretty good idea what to expect.
