Watch: Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Teaser Hypes Us For Monday’s Trailer
We've only got a couple months to go now until the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the film's promotional campaign is kicking into high gear. So far, we have a fairly good idea of what to expect from the movie based on the trailers, TV spots, promotional features and merchandise we've seen already, but it looks like things are going to get a whole lot clearer when we get the next full trailer on Monday. At least, that's based on this brief teaser below, which finally tells us when the last and final preview for the movie will be here.

AMC Hosting A 27-Hour Star Wars Marathon This December
Do you like Star Wars? No, I mean, do you really, really like Star Wars? Because if you do, and if you've got a butt of steel and a high tolerance for bodily odors, then AMC has the event for you! To mark the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the chain is putting on an 11-movie marathon that begins on December 18th and ends roughly 27 hours later on December 20th, presumably just in time for a midnight screening of the new film.

AMC’s Airing A Ten-Film Friday The 13th Marathon Today
The Friday the 13th franchise may be trapped in legal limbo, but AMC are letting Jason Voorhees out of hell today with a monster ten movie marathon. The day covers the first nine movies in the series and the 2009 remake. Sadly it doesn't include Jason X or Freddy vs Jason, but I guess there are only so many hours in the day. Warner Bros. Will Not Remove Controversial Song From Joker
Joker caused an awful lot of pearl-clutching for a film that turned out to be a progressive examination of cuts to mental health services and the impact of austerity politics. Fears that it would inspire a wave of clown-themed mass shootings in theaters proved baseless, as did the ludicrous concern that it would foment some kind of 'incel uprising.' But one aspect of the movie that has proved genuinely controversial is one of its music choices.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Tested Eight Different Endings
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is being released to impossibly high expectations. It’s not just the conclusion of Disney’s Sequel Trilogy, but bills itself as the final conclusion to the Skywalker saga that began back in 1977. As such, audiences expect the film to provide some serious closure. With the backlash against The Last Jedi still ringing in their ears, it seems that J.J. Abrams is determined to stick the landing, too, as Star Wars Topps artist and Cinelinx editor John Maison claims that the director tested eight different endings with test audiences to find the best one.

Zombieland: Double Tap Almost Had A Walking Dead Crossover
For a while, it looked like it might never happen, but Zombieland: Double Tap finally hits cinemas this week and has already picked up a slew of positive reviews. But as good as the film looks to be, it may have been even better if they'd have gone ahead with a proposed crossover with The Walking Dead. Of course, despite both being in the same post-apocalyptic zombie genre, their tones couldn't be more different. Zombieland is irreverent and fun, while The Walking Dead is serious and extremely grim.

It's all change for Marvel TV right now. With Kevin Feige becoming Marvel Studios' Chief Creative Officer, he's assumed control of every aspect of the company's properties. This means he decides what goes when it comes to film, comic books and TV. It also means that Marvel TV as we know it is dead and that existing projects are being cancelled or quietly wound up.
