Billy Dee Williams Reportedly Returning For Lando Disney Plus Show
While Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker looks like it may end up a more divisive entry in the franchise than The Last Jedi, those who've seen it at least agree that it's good to have Billy Dee Williams back as Lando Calrissian. One element that works particularly well is Lando's relationship with Naomi Ackie's Jannah. Throughout the movie, it's implied that they have some kind of connection, with most assuming that she's his long-lost daughter. In the final moments of the film (spoilers ahead) we even see Lando explaining that together they're going to figure out who she is.

The Star Wars fanbase might be the biggest on the planet. Its main competitors are Harry Potter and Marvel, but Star Wars has a cross-generational longevity that, in my opinion, puts them at the top of the heap. But with such a large fanbase come a wide variety of opinions: some good, some bad. And it's safe to say that ever since the release of The Last Jedi, the most vocal Star Wars fans have been those that absolutely despised the movie.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Reveals That [SPOILERS] Were Secretly Rey’s Parents
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is now out in the wild and spoilers are flying around thick and fast. One of the more controversial decisions in the movie is that they officially reveal who Rey's real parents were. In The Last Jedi Kylo Ren informed her that: "They were filthy junk traders. Sold you off for drinking money. They're dead in a pauper's grave in the Jakku desert." It was one of my favorite moments in the movie, proving that Rey's talents and bravery aren't simply because she was born into a special family, but because of who she is. After all, if a complete nobody can save the galaxy, then anyone can.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Leak Reveals If Hayden Christensen Returns Or Not
For as long as we've been talking about Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, we've been debating whether Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker would return or not. Given that the movie was extensively billed as the conclusion of the nine-film Skywalker Saga and that it was bringing back Emperor Palpatine, fans were hopeful. After all, Anakin is the key character for the first six movies and The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi both deal directly with his legacy.

The Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker review embargo has ended and it seems the film is in for a bumpy ride. After The Last Jedi was adored by critics and despised by a portion of the fan community and Solo bombed at the box office, this finale for the Sequel Trilogy was intended to end it with a bang. Unfortunately, though, according to most critics, it's ending with more of a whimper.

The Matrix 4 Will Not Be A Prequel Despite Featuring Young Morpheus
Over the weekend, we reported that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has been cast as a younger version of Laurence Fishburne's Morpheus in The Matrix 4. Upon hearing the news, most assumed that this meant the movie would be a prequel. However, that doesn't quite fit with some of the other confirmed details on the film. For example, it's been revealed that Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity. Given Morpheus' age by the time he liberates Neo, how could the two interact in a prequel?

Marvel’s Daredevil Movie Will Reportedly See Kingpin Out For Revenge
The cancellation of Daredevil hit fans particularly hard. Anyone with half a brain could see Iron Fist wasn't going anywhere, and while Luke Cage and Jessica Jones were painful they were also somewhat variable in quality. But Daredevil? It was a critical darling, had just released a red-hot third season and the cast and crew appeared positive about their future plans. But, inevitably, the axe fell and it seemed that Charlie Cox's time in the role was over.

Marvel Will Introduce First Fox Property Since Merger In WandaVision
Disney's merger with Fox and their acquisition of their IPs mean that, sooner or later, we're going to get the X-Men and Fantastic Four in the MCU. But Marvel Studios aren't going to rush things. With Dark Phoenix and Fantastic Four both flops, it's presumed that they're going to wait until audiences miss the characters to reintroduce them in a new form. But just because the marquee heroes like the Thing and Wolverine aren't scheduled to appear, that doesn't mean that other X-Universe elements can't.
