Joaquin Phoenix Shares His Theory About The Ending Of Joker
Joker is one of the biggest movies of 2019. It's right on the cusp of joining the billion-dollar club (it's currently at $993 million worldwide), has wowed audiences and critics and generated a ton of discussion as to its themes. One element of the film that's generated a lot of debate though is whether the final scenes take place in Arthur Fleck's head. It's a question that's worthy of discussion, too. After all, we see Arthur suffering delusions earlier in the movie and his sudden acceleration from complete nobody to inspiring a riot and being adored by a crowd is very sudden.

Netflix And Eddie Murphy Teaming Up For Beverly Hills Cop 4
Axel Foley is making a comeback. The Beverly Hills Cop franchise has been on ice for years, but Netflix has just announced that they're teaming up with Paramount Pictures and Eddie Murphy to bring Beverly Hills Cop 4 to the streaming service. Murphy, who recently worked with Netflix on Dolomite is My Name, has apparently enjoyed his partnership with the company and decided it'd be the perfect home for the long-in-gestation sequel. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer is also along for the ride.

The Mandalorian Reveals How Star Wars Characters Poop In Space
There are some mysteries that've been debated amongst Star Wars fans for years. Who were Rey's parents? Where did Supreme Leader Snoke come from? And who is Anakin Skywalker's father? But now we can scratch at least one off the list, because The Mandalorian finally answered the question of where Star Wars characters go to poop when in space. The answer is... *drum roll* they use a 'Vacc-tube.'

New Justice League Snyder Cut Photo Shows Cyborg Vs. Steppenwolf
Of all the characters affected by Joss Whedon and Warner Bros.' slimmed-down theatrical cut of Justice League, Ray Fisher's Cyborg got the worst of it. Zack Snyder had envisioned a fascinating dramatic arc for the hero that positioned him as the heart of the movie. This was severely truncated in the released version, though, with the best bits of Fisher's performance ending up on the cutting room floor. Since then, we've seen glimpses of what we missed out on, but now Zack Snyder has released (and Ray Fisher has retweeted) a picture of a scene showing Cyborg defending STAR Labs from Steppenwolf.

Original Star Wars Trilogy Features Rare Deleted Scenes On Disney Plus
Disney Plus is here and represents the biggest challenge to Netflix's dominance of streaming services yet. It's gotten off to a strong start with The Mandalorian, promises to bring a raft of exclusive MCU and Star Wars TV shows and features some deep dives into the Mouse House's extensive back catalogue. One set of films in pride of place is the original Star Wars trilogy. The downside is that the versions available for streaming still include the regrettable CGI additions inserted in the mid-90s, but the upside is that they're available in pixel-perfect 4K and with a selection of rare deleted scenes for each one.

Netflix To Release Season 3 Premiere Of The Crown For Free
It's rumored that each episode of The Crown costs about $10m to create. So Netflix was taking quite the gamble when they pinned that much money on a slow-paced, detail heavy exploration of postwar British politics. It's a gamble that has paid off. The show is excellent, has won many awards and is one of their most prestigious titles. It seems that with Season 3 premiering on November 17th they're determined to keep it that way, as they're releasing the season premiere for free to anyone with or without a Netflix account.

The Mandalorian Premiere May’ve Secretly Featured Boba Fett
The first episode of The Mandalorian is now out and the verdict is that it's pretty good. Perhaps it wasn't the mind-blowingly original experience that had been hyped, but Star Wars by way of a spaghetti Western featuring Werner Herzog is difficult to pass up. And after the cool cliffhanger at the end of the premiere, I'm certainly going to continue tuning in to find out where this story goes.

Ryan Reynolds Shows His Support For Justice League Snyder Cut
We're now two years on from the release of Justice League, but the campaign to see the fabled Snyder cut has only gotten more intense. These fans have demonstrated an admirable dedication to their cause, applying consistent pressure to Warner Bros., having social media events in which they bombard the company with requests and also raising money for charities. Whether they'll ultimately achieve their aim is anyone's guess, but now at least they seem to have a high profile supporter in Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds.
