New Leaked Title For Star Wars: Episode IX Is Absolutely Terrible
We're currently way overdue to learn the official title of Star Wars: Episode IX. The Last Jedi's title was revealed on the 23rd of January 2017, meaning there was a gap of 11 months where we could puzzle out what the hell it referred to before the film's release. Now, with April just around the corner and Spring having officially sprung, we're still in the dark about Episode IX. But venerable movie news site Ain't It Cool News claims to have the official title and are telling us that it'll actually be called Star Wars: Skywalkers.

Star Wars: Episode IX Leaked Promo Photo Reveals Old Lando
The return of Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian in Star Wars: Episode IX should be an interesting moment. While he's a hero of the Rebellion and played a key role in the destruction of the second Death Star, he's been conspicuously absent from the events of The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. When Leia's plea for rescue fell on deaf ears at the finale of the previous film, that pain was all the more visceral for knowing that Lando was out there somewhere and not answering.

The mysterious Knights of Ren have been much discussed in the run-up to Star Wars: Episode IX. They're a group of warriors who were under the command of Supreme Leader Snoke, and with Kylo Ren being the highest ranked in their order, he's assumed to have taken control of them. Despite being present for The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, they've remained almost entirely off-screen, leading many fan theorists to conclude that they'll play a big role in the finale of the Sequel Trilogy.

Captain America Says Donald Trump Is An Absolute Dumb Sh*t
If the Avengers: Endgame rumors are true and Chris Evans' Steve Rogers/Captain America doesn't make it to the credits it's going to be a very emotional moment for the MCU. Not only is Chris Evans excellent as a character who to many was considered a joke prior to the MCU (I remember skeptically wondering how on Earth they were going to market 'Captain America' to international markets), but he's also not afraid to stand up for his beliefs. Evans has a track record on Twitter of criticizing President Donald Trump - a political stance that he recognises might turn part of the audience against him.

Avengers: Endgame Confirmed To Be The MCU’s Longest Movie
Avengers: Endgame has a lot to squeeze in. The film functions as the conclusion to various plot strands that have been developing in the MCU since 2008 and, like Infinity War before it, needs do a gargantuan number of superheroes justice. Knowing all this, the reveal earlier this week that AMC Theatres were listing Endgame as having a 182m run time didn't exactly come as a surprise. It seems that AMC might have published this by mistake, as the run-time was quickly removed from the site. However, now sources close to The Hollywood Reporter are saying that this information is broadly accurate:

New Avengers: Endgame Promo Begins The 1-Month Countdown
In one month's time we'll all be settling into comfy cinema seats, popcorn in hand, eagerly awaiting the beginning of Avengers: Endgame. The film will wrap up plotlines that began in the opening chapters of the MCU and set the tone for the universe going forward. Not to mention that it's got to resolve the horrifying situation that stunned audiences at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. As the film nears release, Marvel Studios are cranking up their marketing machine. Today we received 32 new character posters confirming who survived and who 'fell' during Thanos' snap, and now we have a new promo with ominous undertones.

New Promo For The Walking Dead Season Finale Teases Desperate Times
The Walking Dead season 9 is grinding to a blood-soaked, desperate and incredibly grim finale. The penultimate episode, 'The Calm Before" seemed to show us a ray of light, but in true Walking Dead fashion, that ray of light was soon eclipsed by horror. Ezekiel's fair, which for a moment seemed like an oasis of peace, turned into a bloodbath when Alpha and her Whisperers arrived, killing many and leaving the survivors in a pretty desperate state.

Justice League Director Zack Snyder Is A Huge MCU Fan And Never Misses A Movie
What I would have given for a ticket to the recent 'Zack Snyder: The Director's Cut' event. Over the course of three days, the directors' cuts of Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice were screened, with Snyder appearing in person for lengthy Q&As after each one. Over these we learned a hell of a lot about his plans for the DCEU, including confirmation of fan theories and some surprising (and controversial) new revelations. We even got word on the Snyder cut of Justice League, which is apparently closer to completion than anyone previously thought.
