Capcom Reveals How Many Zombies Resident Evil 2 Players Have Killed So Far
The Resident Evil 2 remake has been an enormous success for Capcom, and with good reason. The 1998 Playstation game is considered a highlight of its generation and one of the best entries in the long-running series. The 2019 remake has sensitively preserved what fans loved about the original and combined it with jaw-dropping graphics (literally in one particularly gross moment early on), a silky smooth framerate and possibly the best zombie combat there's ever been in a game.

New Photo Provides Closer Look At What Lex Luthor Was Planning In Justice League
Justice League ended with a post-credits sequence in which a newly escaped (and newly bald) Lex Luthor relaxes on a yacht plotting about what he might do with "a league of our own." Given the failure of the film and subsequent change of direction from Warner Bros., we'll probably never know precisely what this would've entailed. Worse yet, we may never see Jesse Eisenberg's take on Luthor again, given that the actor's apparently lost interest in the role and the studio has no plans for him to reappear.

New Star Wars Novel Reveals Obi-Wan Struggled Under Qui-Gon’s Training
Liam Neeson's Qui-Gon Jinn was one of the more interesting characters in the prequel trilogy. Whereas we quickly realised the Jedi Council were a bunch of stuffy old fossils creaking under the weight of thousands of years of formal tradition, he seemed to have put a bit more thought into his philosophy and action. Whereas the majority of the Jedi followed the Jedi Code he always seemed more in tune with the Living Force. This was all very unusual for his talented padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi, who we saw both respecting and bridling under the older man's tuition in The Phantom Menace.

Star Wars: Episode IX Rumored To Feature An Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader Hybrid
We've been hearing rumblings that Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader will appear in Star Wars: Episode IX for some time now. After all, the film's being billed as the finale to the Skywalker Saga, so it'd make sense for perhaps the most important member of the family to at least be mentioned. On top of that, there are reports that the movie will have a number of throwbacks to the Prequel Trilogy, with Disney having apparently made peace with it (there'd even been rumors that they were considering remaking it).

Is there anything that can't be improved by the addition of Idris Elba, People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2018? The MCU is poorer now that Heimdall is toast, and the actor's still bandied about as a potential James Bond, Batman or any number of major roles. It seems everyone wants a piece of him, and understandably so.

The CW’s Considering A Gossip Girl Reboot
Gossip Girl was a huge hit for The CW, being a hit practically from its first episode in 2007 and maintaining an audience throughout its six seasons. That's hardly surprising: it had a killer premise and a fantastic cast: who could resist peeking into the privileged lives of wealthy Manhattan teenagers and seeing how secretly miserable they all were? Boasting Blake Lively, Penn Badgley and voiceover work by Kristen Bell was the cherry on top of the cake.

Queen Refuses To Play At The Oscars Despite Bohemian Rhapsody’s Nominations
Bohemian Rhapsody has surprised everyone by doing very well so far during awards season. At the Golden Globes, it picked up the best Motion Picture - Drama gong, with star Rami Malek winning Best Actor for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury. Now, it has a clutch of Oscar nominations under its belt and will be competing for Best Picture and Best Actor along with a handful of technical awards. Not bad for a film that just squeaked into 'Fresh' territory on the Tomatometer with a 62% positive rating.

Ed Boon May Be Teasing That Shaggy From Scooby-Doo’s Coming To Mortal Kombat 11
The Mortal Kombat series has become known for its awesome guest characters. Over the last few years, we've seen Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, a Predator and the Alien square off against the Kombat cast. And each of them has put up more than enough of a match to the Mortal Kombat 11 crew of supernaturally powered ninjas, otherworldly mutants and low level deities. But now, if the internet gets its way, a new challenger will be approaching: Shaggy from Scooby-Doo.

New Star Wars Novel The Skywalker Saga Announced For September Release
Disney and Lucasfilm are billing Star Wars: Episode IX as the finale of the Skywalker saga. The pitch is that it'll finally bring to end the story that chronologically began in The Phantom Menace, showing us the lives of Anakin Skywalker and his children Luke and Leia. Their stories are the backbones of the entire Star Wars saga, with the characters' decisions and actions having shaped the course of the universe. Now, it seems like Disney's going to be putting the entire tale into an interesting new novel simply titled The Skywalker Saga.
