DC Comics Pay Tribute To Stan Lee With Classy New Memorial
DC and Marvel Comics are inexorably locked in an eternal competition, their competing stables of superheroes forever vying to be the most popular. But despite that, the two companies have generally displayed a healthy respect for each other over the years, as proven by DC Comics' touching and classy tribute to Stan Lee, creator of the vast majority of Marvel's most iconic characters.

2019 Is Shaping Up To Be The Biggest Year For Star Wars Ever
2018 was not a great year for Star Wars. Solo was a box office disappointment that resulted in Disney and Lucasfilm rethinking their plans for future spinoffs, there was the lingering (and in my opinion wrongheaded) fan backlash against The Last Jedi and while Battlefront II saw a steady stream of DLC, its reputation will forever be tainted by the microtransactions controversy that saw an immense amount of bad press.

Brexit Supporters Are Fuming After Doctor Who Poked Fun At Them
Brexit is turning into a problem worse than the Cybermen and Daleks combined, with the UK apparently about to plunge off an economic cliff and into unknown, chaotic waters. And given that Doctor Who has never been particularly shy about getting political over the years, it's perhaps not surprising that they'd make a reference to it at some point.

Bohemian Rhapsody Blu-ray To Include Full Live Aid Performance
I didn't have particularly high hopes for Bohemian Rhapsody, but despite its torturous production, it turned out way better than I expected. My favorite sequence by far was the film's climactic recreation of Queen's iconic performance during 1985's Live Aid. This was perhaps the highlight of the band's career, showcasing Freddie Mercury at his most potent and powerful. So, the news that the upcoming home video release will include a full recreation of it is good to hear as far as I'm concerned.

Deadpool Creator Says The Animated TV Show Will Still Happen
When it was announced that Donald and Stephen Glover's Deadpool FX animated series wasn't going ahead, fans were pretty miserable. After all, the scripts leaked by Glover since the project's collapse sounded pretty damn awesome, though perhaps saying that Marvel is only trying to "sell toys to 7-year-old boys and 50-year-old pedophiles" wasn't a great idea. With that, not to mention Glover's not particularly veiled accusations of racism as the reason for the show's cancellation, FX announced that it would not be going ahead due to "creative differences".

Another Alternate Ending For The Predator Featured Newt From Aliens
It certainly sounds like the cast and crew of The Predator had fun coming up with insane alternative endings for the film. What they originally wanted to do was conclude the film with the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Dutch Schaefer to the franchise. But when Arnie wouldn't play ball they seem to have let their imaginations go wild. Two days ago we reported that the ending in which a 'Predator Killer' suit was revealed could have actually been a mysterious figure wearing a facehugger-style breathing mask - which would turn out to be Sigourney Weaver's iconic hero Ellen Ripley.

Plot Summary For Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Spinoff Series Teases A Rousing Spy Thriller
With the poor performance of Solo apparently putting the brakes on Disney's plans for Star Wars spinoffs, the announcement of a live-action series based on the adventures of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story character Cassian Andor came as something of a surprise. Clearly, someone made one hell of an elevator pitch to the commissioning executives, but given that he was one of the more interesting characters in the movie, his exploits before he got heroically blown to smithereens should make for a nice addition to the already very impressive Disney Plus slate.

Netflix Just Added A Ton Of Great Horror Movies
Netflix recently revealed which films would be coming to their library to ring in the New Year, and they're looking like a great collection for horror fans. Hailing from 2001-2004, you can now stream Jason X, Ghost Ship, Eight Legged Freaks, Gothika, Cellular and The Butterfly Effect. Of course, none of these are stone cold classics, but they're all worthwhile watches if you can put up with a bit of wonky early noughties CGI and occasionally very hammy acting.

Here’s Who Nick Fury And Maria Hill Were Going To See In Avengers: Infinity War’s Post-Credits Scene
The devastating Snap sequence at the end of Avengers: Infinity War saw most of our favorite superheroes collapse into piles of dust in front of their traumatized friends. Just as we were reeling from that, we were then walloped with a credits scene in which Nick Fury and Maria Hill are driving through a city when cars and helicopters begin crashing around them. As Fury himself collapses into dust, he sends out a last-minute cry for help to Captain Marvel. But who were the pair on their way to see on this trip?
