Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Express Train Was Almost Scrapped At One Point
People of a certain age grew up dreaming of riding the Hogwarts Express. Departing from Platform 9 3/4 from King's Cross railway station in London it transports carriage-loads of excited students to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It sounded pretty awesome in the books, and Christopher Columbus brought it to life beautifully in 2001's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (or, if you really insist, Sorcerer's Stone).

Power/Rangers Producer Says It’s A Better Franchise Than Star Wars
Adi Shankar has produced some pretty damn amazing movies, most notably The Grey and Dredd, both of which kick ass. In addition he's created a series of "Bootleg Universe" one-shot shorts in which he uses famous IPs in ways the rights holder would never do. The most famous of these is Power/Rangers, a dark reimagining of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers that lit up the internet on its 2015 release and was quickly and ineffectually suppressed by Saban.

Adrienne King is one of the best things about Friday the 13th, with her terror and trauma at being stalked by Jason all too plausible. Her character Alice Hardy even survived the events of the original movie, only to catch an ice pick in the temple courtesy of Jason in Friday the 13th Part 2. But, not content with being in two of the 1980's most iconic films, she's now revealed that she also had an uncredited role in Ghostbusters.

New Avengers: Infinity War Theory Argues Why Thanos Is Actually A Decent Guy
There were many surprises in Avengers: Infinity War, most of them deeply depressing. But one of the more unexpected was the way in which the Russo Brothers turned Thanos from the two dimensional purple baddie he'd been in the MCU to that point into a genuinely complex and interesting character. Their stated aim for the movie was to make him the centre of it; even though he's the villain he goes on a warped version of the hero's journey. Plus, his Malthusian philosophy kinda makes sense if you skate over the murdering billions of innocent people part.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix Director Reveals Jean Grey Reshoots With BTS Pic
X-Men: Dark Phoenix may or may not be in big trouble. There have been persistent rumors that Fox is extremely unhappy with the cut director Simon Kinberg turned in, mandating extensive reshoots including a whole new third act. Originally scheduled to release in November the film has been delayed until 2019 and for a while, many were convinced that the project was on the verge of being canned for good. Given that they have embarked on those reshoots it seems that the doomsday scenario for the movie isn't going to come to pass, but it leaves a Dark Phoenix with a big, ominous question mark hanging over it.

Dave Bautista Spoils Avengers 4 On TV, Says No One Told Him Not To
There's a pretty convincing theory making the rounds that Dave Bautista is trying his damnedest to get sacked by Disney. Sparked by the controversial firing of James Gunn from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, he's been repeatedly taking to Twitter to rightly criticize the House of Mouse for bowing to a pressure campaign from the far right. He hasn't exactly been mincing his words about his feelings, to the point where it's plausible that he's trying to get them to release him from his multi-film contract to play Drax. The theory might have had a little more fuel added to the fire today, too, with Bautista doing the one thing that Disney and Marvel Studios absolutely hate - revealing spoilers about Avengers 4.

House Of Cards Star Says The Show Almost Got Cancelled Because Of Kevin Spacey
When Kevin Spacey was revealed as a sexual predator with a decades-long history of preying on young boys, I figured Netflix's House of Cards had played its last hand. After all, Spacey was the undisputed face of the show, both its lead character and featuring heavily in the marketing material. With his name suddenly about as toxic as you can get how could you carry on? Well, Robin Wright, who played the steely Claire Underwood in the show, fought to keep the show from being cancelled, arguing that they owed it to their viewers to finish the story.

Avengers 4 Reshoots Will Add More Of Wakanda Into The Movie
When Marvel Studios realized just how big Black Panther was going to be and saw it smashing every box office projection they must have thanked their lucky stars that Avengers: Infinity War's finale took place in the character's home country of Wakanda. It gave them the perfect opportunity to bring back the characters and scenery that audiences responded to so positively just two months earlier. Now, with the studio beginning what is to be a serious campaign to put the film in consideration for Best Picture at the Oscars, they're reportedly eager to strike while the iron's hot and set more of Avengers 4 in the sci-fi African state.

If your idea of Sabrina the Teenage Witch is a light-hearted tween comedy featuring a dodgy animatronic cat, Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is going to rock your world. The series adapts Robert Aguirre-Sacasa and Robert Hack's 2014 comic of the same name, which takes the core concept of a high school girl finding out she's a witch and gives it a fittingly horror treatment. There's devil worship, characters die bloody deaths and classic horror references all the way through (don't worry, there's still a talking cat, too).
