Doctor Who Star Plays Coy About Daleks In The New Year’s Special
Chris Chibnall's inaugural season of Doctor Who laid out two major rules it'd follow to differentiate itself from the previous runs. For one, there'd be no season-long arc or mystery running through the episodes, and each installment would feature an original monster rather than endlessly reworking the iconic classics of the series. They stuck to these rules and (because of them or not) were rewarded with a huge ratings boost on previous seasons and high levels of viewer satisfaction.

Avengers: Endgame Theory Teases An Iconic Marvel Villain
After about a decade of build-up, Avengers: Infinity War finally showed us the Mad Titan, and it definitely wasn't an anticlimax. Not only was the mocapped performance by Josh Brolin absolutely fantastic, but he was a believably powerful foe in combat, making it all too realistic that the combined might of Earth's superheroes would be unable to take him down.

Nick Nolte’s Role In The Mandalorian May Have Been Revealed
I was very excited when reports first started to emerge that told us Nick Nolte had joined the cast of The Mandalorian. Judging by the set pics, the show looks as if it's going to be exploring some of the more dusty and run-down parts of the Star Wars universe, and it's very easy to imagine the weatherbeaten, perpetually grumpy and gravel-voiced Nolte swilling down some weird-looking drink in a Tatooine dive bar.

Will Smith Assures Fans That His Genie In Aladdin Will Indeed Be Blue
Disney is currently on a winning streak when it comes to their live-action adaptations.  Cinderella, The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast have all raked in the cash at the box office. Coming down the line are Dumbo, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid, but one of the most interesting is Guy Ritchie's Aladdin. Aside from a teaser trailer, we've only caught glimpses of what's coming down the line - until today. Disney has unveiled their live-action Genie - famously played by Robin Williams in the animated original and Will Smith in this remake - and fans aren't exactly happy with what they've seen.

AMC Reveals First Look At Samantha Morton As Alpha In The Walking Dead
We've already had a peek at our first image from the midseason premiere of The Walking Dead, together with a synopsis that teases the horrors that the remaining survivors will face in the back half of season 9. It seems their primary foe will be the mysterious, dangerous and honestly pretty damn gross Whisperers, who've proven their deadliness by dispatching Jesus in the midseason finale. We've also heard that British actor Samantha Morton was set to be playing their leader - known as Alpha - and now, we've got our first look at her.

While The Walking Dead might be stumbling a bit when it comes to ratings, season 9 has been well-received by critics and fans alike. Perhaps batting off accusations that the show has become a bit formulaic, we've seen the death of Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes, an unexpected time jump and the arrival of the mysterious and frankly quite disgusting Whisperers, who've already killed off Jesus.
