Disney Says It’s Possible We’ll See The Defenders On Their Streaming Service
Disney's cancellation of Daredevil came as something of a shock. Fans weren't particularly surprised when the underperforming Iron Fist got the chop, and perhaps Luke Cage was just an edge case... but surely the critically acclaimed Daredevil, which had just screened its best season yet, was safe. Sadly, that proved not to be the case. While many reasons have been bandied about, my opinion is that with Disney+, Disney's own streaming service, on the way, the corporation simply didn't see the point in providing content for its soon-to-be primary competitor.

Though it doesn't release domestically until Friday, Aquaman is already a sizable hit overseas. It's currently sitting on a $260 million international haul, much of which is from Chinese audiences who seem to adore its distinctive high-saturated underwater action. But it could still all fall apart when it hits the States.

Doctor Who Season 11 Scores The Show’s Highest Ratings In Eight Years
A month or so ago, people were beginning to get the knives out for Jodie Whittaker's debut as the Thirteenth Doctor in Doctor Who. Right-wing British tabloids claimed that ratings had "plunged," explaining that viewers were being turned off by the belief that the show had become painfully politically correct. And of course, the less savory elements of the Doctor Who fandom seized upon this as validation for their stale arguments that the Doctor should only ever be played by a man.

Jason Momoa Wants Flash And Wonder Woman In Aquaman 2
While the final box office verdict is still a ways out yet, Warner Bros. will be breathing a sigh of relief that Aquaman seems to be a hit with audiences. Well, Chinese audiences at any rate, as the film has already scooped up an impressive $260 million from the overseas market in advance of its domestic release on December 21st. While we don't know whether the pic will go on to be an outright smashing success, it seems that there's little chance of it being an outright flop - so naturally, talk's turned to plans for Aquaman 2.

Avengers: Endgame Might Become Marvel’s Most Viewed Trailer Ever
We waited for weeks. We grasped every rumor saying it was about to drop. We puzzled over every implausible 'leak' from those working on it. Then, ten days ago, we finally got our hands on the Avengers: Endgame trailer. Whether it lived up to the hype or not is up to you, but I absolutely adored its downbeat nature and emotional focus. When pretty much every trailer shows off its films most bombastic action sequences, the Endgame trailer zeroed in on small and personal moments - appropriately enough given that this is our first peek into the cinematic MCU post-Infinity War.

A Mystery Phase 4 MCU Movie May Be Taking Us Back To WWI
According to reports in the Italian press, Marvel Studios are heading to Italy for another shoot very soon. They seem to enjoy filming in the country, too, having shot scenes for Avengers: Age of Ultron in the Fortress of Bard in the Val d'Aosta and reportedly making use of Venice's iconic architecture and canals for an action sequence in the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home (hopefully we'll get a peek at this in the incoming trailer).

Syfy’s New Critters Movie Will Shoot This January In South Africa
Remember Critters? You know, they were kind of like Gremlins but not as good? Well, they're back courtesy of Syfy, who is on a mission to resurrect long-dormant horror franchises. Back in October, they announced their plans to buy the rights and make new movies about cult classics Killer Klowns From Outer Space and Critters. We've heard nothing as yet about Killer Klowns, but it's sounding as though it's all go for the hungry, mischievous and toothy space monsters.
