BB-8 And BB-9E Will Battle In Star Wars: The Last Jedi
BB-8 rolled his way into our hearts from the moment we first saw him, managing the impressive task of recreating what audiences loved so much about his astromech predecessor, R2-D2. The little droid was a key part of The Force Awakens' plot, acting as the custodian of the map to Luke Skywalker's location on Ahch-To. Now that he's succeeded in delivering that, you may worry that he won't have much to do in The Last Jedi.

John Boyega Wishes Harrison Ford Was In Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Daisy Ridley and John Boyega were both relatively obscure actors when they began shooting The Force Awakens. So it must have been pretty surreal to suddenly be filming scenes with that solid gold icon of cinema, Harrison Ford. Even getting Ford for the project seems like it must have been an uphill task, as his hobbies these days are less acting and more getting stoned and flying a plane around. But, probably down to the promise that this would put a capstone on Han Solo's story, Ford showed up and delivered an excellent performance.

X-Men: The Animated Series Showrunner Has An Idea For Season 6
Kids these days have got it made when it comes to superheroes. Not only can you not move for high quality, big screen adventures, but there's a constant stream of fun cartoon adaptations on TV, too. Back in the 90s, though, we couldn't afford to be so choosy. Superhero cinema was extremely hit and miss, leaving us with the consolation prizes of Batman: The Animated Series and X-Men: The Animated Series.

Patrick Stewart Explains Why He Came Back For Logan
By my reckoning, the best superhero film of 2017 came early on: James Mangold's Logan. It gave us a moving, pared down and satisfying conclusion to Wolverine's story and was about the best send off you could imagine for Hugh Jackman. But it wasn't just the Aussie actor's swansong, as the film also marked the final appearance of Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier/Professor X.

Did You Catch This Nod To The Comics In The Avengers: Infinity War Trailer?
With the release of that jam-packed trailer, there's a lot of hubbub about the events of Avengers: Infinity War going on right now. Weirdly, though, one place people don't seem to be looking for answers is Jim Starlin and George Perez's 1991 Infinity Gauntlet comic book series that the film loosely adapts. Fortunately, Matthew Erao at Screen Rant has done his homework and spotted a cool reference to the comic in the trailer.

This Batman Ninja Trailer Is Weird And Amazing In All The Right Ways
I've long had a soft spot for stories that transplant Batman to different times. The best is probably Gotham By Gaslight, which imagines a Victorian Batman tangling with Jack the Ripper, but I also have a huge soft spot for Grant Morrison's time-hopping miniseries Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne, in which we see Caveman Batman, Witchhunter Batman, Pirate Batman, Cowboy Batman and 30s Gumshoe Batman. So, I'm naturally over the moon with this new trailer for Batman Ninja.

First Official Photo Of Hawkeye’s New Look In Avengers: Infinity War
Oh Hawkeye, Hawkeye, Hawkeye... It's got to be rough being 'the bow and arrow guy' on a team that consists of a billionaire in a robot suit, a World War II super soldier, a giant green gamma-infused monster and the actual God of Thunder, but there's no call to get a stupid trendy haircut to stand out. This is classic midlife crisis behaviour, right up there with randomly buying a red convertible or cheating on your wife with a much younger woman.
