First Order Stormtroopers Attack Crait In New Star Wars: The Last Jedi Photo
I don't know about you, but I'm almost at the point where I want to go into a news blackout about Star Wars: The Last Jedi for fear of spoiling the film too much. The last couple of weeks have seen a load of pics, toys, TV spots and even leaked footage from the movie itself, and I wonder whether I'm seeing too much of it. Even Rian Johnson is unsure about whether fans should watch the trailers and Mark Hamill is urging people not to spoil the film for others. But even with all that in mind, what could one little picture of some stormtroopers hurt?

Warner Bros. Wants To Recast Iris West For Flashpoint, But Can They?
Right now the DCEU is in a state of flux. If everything had gone to plan, Justice League would have been the critical and commercial equal to Marvel's Avengers and kicked off a hotly anticipated phase of DC characters solo movies. With the film a bit of a disaster, however, things are up in the air for Warner Bros. And their problems couldn't be better illustrated than the current fix they're in regarding the casting of Iris West in Flashpoint.

2018 marks a decade since Robert Downey Jr. strapped himself into an experimental metal suit and blasted himself halfway across a desert. With every subsequent cinematic appearance that Iron Man armor got sleeker and more impressive, as did the MCU films they featured in. But all good things must come to an end, and it's looking as if Avengers 4 might see the final appearances from some of the all-time greatest movie superheroes.

With Justice League suffering critical derision and underperforming at the box office, the DCEU has got to be on the ropes. Fortunately, though, James Wan's Aquaman is way too far along in production to cancel, as demonstrated by the below set pic of Jason Momoa sporting a new suit of armor.

Disney World Reveals New Star Wars Planet Batuu
Disney's Star Wars ride Star Tours has received a fresh coat of paint and brand new The Last Jedi themed content beginning from today. The first visitors have reported that, as expected, the ride now takes us to Crait, the striking white planet with red dust that we've seen in several trailers and TV spots. That'd be pretty neat in and of itself, but there's more surprises in store.

Does The Fantastic Beasts 2 Cast Photo Confirm A Major Fan Theory?
Every serious Harry Potter fan will have seen yesterday's atmospheric cast photo that introduces the major players of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. There's a lot of information jammed into the pic, too, notably the confirmation that Johnny Depp will continue to play the titular dark wizard after his cameo at the end of Fantastic Beasts and our first proper look at Jude Law as a young (well, middle-aged) Albus Dumbledore.

After Wonder Woman, there was a brief period when the DCEU looked to be back on track. Then came the big fat mess of Justice League, which likely marks the final time we'll see Ben Affleck in the Batsuit. Jake Gyllenhaal is apparently poised to take over the role from him in Matt Reeves' The Batman, which is currently in pre-production, but what would a Gyllenhaal/Reeves Dark Knight pic look like?

Zack Snyder Hasn’t Even Seen Justice League Yet
I've had my fair share of cinematic grievances with Zack Snyder over the years, but you've got to feel sympathetic for him right now. Not only is he still recovering from a horrible family tragedy, but being removed from Justice League prior to its release and having a fifth of the film reshot must be rough for a director.
