With nostalgia at an all time high thanks to TeenNick's The 90s Are All That, it's time to take a closer look at the last remaining Nickelodeon cartoon to begin in the 90s and still be making new episodes in 2011, Spongebob Squarepants.

Special Screening Of The Dark Knight Rises Prologue
More than a few phony descriptions have "leaked" in recent weeks of the prologue for Christopher Nolan's new Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, and while some have seemed more likely than others, none have been confirmed. Thankfully - a lucky few press members have been invited to a screening of the prologue on December 8th and it seems likely that we will have an official description at that time.

Taylor Swift Is Billboard’s Woman Of The Year
Singer-songwriter 21-year-old Taylor Swift snagged the title of Billboard's Woman Of The Year on Friday, which she accepted at Billboard's Women in Music event in New York. Swift is the youngest artist ever to win the award. According to Billboard, the award "celebrates the achievements of a trailblazing female recording artist during the past twelve months and acknowledges her overall success and leadership in the music business."

All Episodes Of Community Now On Hulu Plus
Following the recent - tragic - news that NBC's Community would no longer be appearing this year in the Thursday midseason line-up, every episode of the near-perfect program is now watchable on Hulu. That is, to subscribers of Hulu Plus. The old episodes became available for viewing on Friday, instead of the usual five most recent episodes. I suppose this move was made by NBC to help fans cope with the loss of their favorite program, as if they are throwing us some kind of live-streaming bone.

Dream Cast For The Hunger Games Sequel Catching Fire
The Hunger Games will finally be viewable on the big screen on March 23, and the first full-length trailer for the film has premiered. All of the hubbub surrounding Hunger Games casting has slowly died down, and all that is left to do is patiently await the film, at peace (or not) with the decisions made for the first film.

Independent Spirit Awards 2011 Nominations
The full list of nominations for the 2011 Independent Spirit Awards has been released, and boy is the playing field....even. Of the six films nominated for Best Feature, The Artist barely takes a lead with five nominations total, while Drive, Beginners, Take Shelter and The Descendants have four and 50/50 has three.
