Well, it looks like he has had a change of heart, as the game will be returning to mobile devices in August.
June is shaping up to be a big month for the Xbox One, as not only will the console receive a Kinect-less price cut, but Microsoft's Games With Gold promotion will finally launch for it as well. The program, which issues two free games to Xbox 360 owners with Xbox Gold per month, has been active since last July.
Lab Zero Games' Skullgirls Encore is this week's addition to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection. Centring around the quest for the mysterious "Skull Heart," Skullgirls is a 2D fighter that features a unique selection of combatants. The female centric roster includes an amnesia stricken schoolgirl wearing a symbiote named Samson, an immortal thief who can survive dismemberment, a shape shifting monster currently looking like a nun, and many other oddballs. The "Encore" upgrade released earlier this year added new stages and music, as well as balance tweaks for the fighters.
