A week has passed since the season finale of DC's Legends of Tomorrow aired and while you have the option to catch reruns here and there over the next few months, we all know it's preferable to beef up your collection by adding the latest superhero set to your shelf. On August 23, you can do just that when Rip Hunter, Firestorm, The Atom, White Canary, and the rest of the Waverider crew fly into stores.
Now that you have had a few days to come down from the season finale of Gotham, you may have started wondering when you can own the home video release. Thankfully, Fox and Warner Bros. opted to not wait very long at all to announce that the Complete Second Season will arrive on Blu-Ray on August 16. One would also expect a DVD release on that very date, but it remains unclear whether or not it will contain all of the featurettes included on its mighty Blu-Ray counterpart.
After having definitively dealt with Vandal Savage on last night's season finale of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, it looks like The CW's elite team of superheroes will be faced with even greater threats come this fall. Our biggest teaser for what's to come came in the form of Rex Tyler/Hourman's arrival as he made a dramatic entrance and warned the team not to embark on their next mission, for it will certainly prove fatal.
Although last night's episode of Supernatural could have easily functioned as a season finale, I am rather pleased that we have one more hour of reality shattering awesomeness before the summer hiatus. If next week's episode, appropriately titled "Alpha and Omega," can somehow top last night's team-up that included God, Lucifer, Crowley, Rowena, as well as angels and demons, then I think we may be in for the biggest swan song since, well, "Swan Song."
I seriously doubt that I was the only one floored by the myriad of fan service in last night's episode of Gotham. If the trailer embedded at the top represents even a fraction of how exciting next week's season finale looks to be, we should be in for some fine television.
Although many of our favorite shows are about to take a few months off, that doesn't mean your TV will become obsolete during the summertime. SyFy intends to heat things up with the release of two trailers promoting the sophomore seasons of Dark Matter and Killjoys.
After hitting a veritable home run for the second consecutive week, Supernatural looks to make it a trifecta as this season's penultimate episode, titled "We Happy Few," likely has many fans anxiously awaiting next Wednesday.
Following up on a highly emotional, pivotal episode directed by the one and only Kevin Smith, The Flash looks to crank things up to "11" in this season's penultimate episode set to air next week.
The second season of Gotham is quickly winding down and we have two sneak peeks from tonight's episode, titled "Wrath of the Villains: Unleashed," for your viewing pleasure as you countdown the next few hours.
I am sure that many fans will agree with me in saying that last night's offering of Supernatural, "Don't Call Me Shurley," was not only something that we have waited years to see, but it also may have been the finest episode of this season (so far). Seeing Rob Benedict return as Chuck Shurley/God in an outing that spent a great deal of time examining his character was something that I was not sure I would ever see. The fact that Metatron of all people inspired him to get back in the game made for quite an emotional viewing experience.
