For a majority of classic war movies, the battles are fought by the infantry, slogging through the unimaginable horrors of ground assaults, and from airborne military personnel tasked with serving their country from the sky. As times change and technology continues to advance though, so does tactical warfare, which is now supplemented with the use of drones. In Andrew Niccol's Good Kill, the emotional conflict that those drone operators are burdened by is explored via Ethan Hawke's Air Force major, Tom Egan.

Another supernatural subset now on the small screen are making a return in WGN America's Salem.
Once upon a time the idea of competing projects for major studios was a no-no. Then Deep Impact and Armageddon came along and effectively canceled each other out. The lesson learned in that case was: it doesn't really matter if another movie embracing the same subject matter is also in development, it only matters if it's better. So, that being said, yet another King Arthur movie has now appeared on the industry radar to rival Guy Ritchie's King Arthur: Knights Of The Roundtable.
Ridley Scott's unstoppable streak of cranking out a movie a year continues with his upcoming sci-fi adventure The Martian. Just kidding.
Of all the live-action adaptations of Shakespeare's beloved Romeo And Juliet, three spring to mind. The fiercely loyal 1968 version starring Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting; Baz Luhrman's 1996 modern day re-telling starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes; and of course, Lloyd Kaufman's brilliantly goofish Tromeo & Juliet. Those three stand out as arguably the most recognized out of the countless takes on the Bard's star-crossed tale. But there could be another imminent arrival destined to outshine them all.
After the likes of Wanted, Kick-Ass and Kingsman: The Secret Service all received stellar film adaptations, another of Mark Millar's original comic book tales has now been earmarked for adaptation - and it's not even hit shelves yet.
