The Blu-ray for Kristen Wiig's dark comedy Girl Most Likely hits stores tomorrow, and We Got This Covered has an exclusive deleted scene from the release that you can check out below.
Last night, we got a crop of new character posters for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, but Warner Bros. is showing no signs of slowing down on their massive marketing campaign for the film. A final theatrical poster for the medieval fantasy epic hit the web today, highlighting the film's battle-ready main cast. Additionally, a new trailer for the film debuted today as well, clocking in at over three minutes.
There are three groups of people in this world: those who love Larry David, those who hate Larry David, and those who have never cared to find out either way. Before viewing Clear History, I counted myself among those individuals in the third category.
However you spin it, the writing's on the wall for Lionsgate's upcoming supernatural action thriller I, Frankenstein. Of course, expectations for the film, adapted from a graphic novel by Underworld writer-producer Kevin Grevioux, were never very high. For one, it's set for release in the frozen cinematic wasteland of January. Additionally, the film's first trailer impressed I, Frankenstein's visual flair without managing to clarify its convoluted plot or convince me that anything about the film can separate it from similar flicks like Underworld and Van Helsing.
Even with the November 8th release date of Thor: The Dark World right around the corner, us Marvel fans are constantly being reminded that the studio is currently hard at work on half a dozen other projects as well. One of the biggest question marks on Marvel's packed schedule is next summer's intergalactic caper Guardians of the Galaxy, which follows a human pilot and his motley crew of extraterrestrials as they attempt to protect a powerful object from the ruthless Thanos (whom fans previously glimpsed in a post-credits scene from The Avengers).
There's really only one group of individuals you can call if there's something strange in your neighborhood. That's right: DreamWorks Animation has recruited a Ghostbuster for their upcoming animated comedy B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations. However, in a deliciously ironic twist, Bill Murray won't be playing one of the ghost hunters. This time around, he's crossing over to the other side to voice a ghoulish haunter named Addison Drake.
After earning a Golden Globe nomination for her first film, the Bosnian war romance In the Land Of Blood and Honey, A-lister Angelina Jolie quickly emerged as one of Hollywood's most fresh directorial talents. She's currently hard at work filming another story set in wartime, an adaptation of Laura Hillenbrand's acclaimed WWII biography Unbroken. Now, the first images from the film have emerged, depicting the shoot in Australia's Moreton Bay.
Shifting from medieval fantasy to tense drama, Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has agreed to star in Susanne Bier's upcoming film A Second Chance. Little is known about the plot thus far, but Deadline reports that A Second Chance will revolve around the central question of how far decent human beings are willing to go when tragedy blurs the line between the just and unjust.
By this point, you've probably already decided whether you'll be lining up for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, the second installment in Peter Jackson's new Middle Earth-set trilogy. The first entry in the series, An Unexpected Journey, received mixed reviews, with many praising its visual effects while criticizing its length and lack of action. New TV spots for the sequel aim to convince moviegoers that the second film won't skimp on the same kind of epic battle sequences that made the Lord of the Rings trilogy so dazzling. And with a 160-minute runtime, we'd better hope not.
Is it April Fools Day already? Unfortunately, we're not so lucky. Millenium Films announced today that they're moving forward with a sequel to the blow-up-the-White-House action extravaganza Olympus Has Fallen, titled London Has Fallen.
