The Blu-Ray for Kristen Wiig’s dark comedy Girl Most Likely hits stores tomorrow, and We Got This Covered has an exclusive deleted scene from the release that you can check out below.

In the clip, protagonist Imogene Duncan (Wiig) encounters a troublesome casino employee while searching for her neglectful, gambling-addict mother (Annette Bening). Their conversation is quite entertaining, so I find it surprising that the scene didn’t make it into the film.

In Girl Most Likely, Imogene is a once-promising New York playwright whose life collapses when she loses both her job and relationship in a matter of hours. After a faked suicide attempt designed to reconcile her with a dispassionate boyfriend instead lands her in the psychiatric ward, Imogene feels like life can’t get any worse. That is, until her shameless, loud-mouthed mother (Bening) arrives to bring her back to the New Jersey homestead she had left in the dust years earlier. As Imogene works to improve her mental state, she encounters an unfamiliar group of characters, including her mother’s sleazy boyfriend (Matt Dillon) and a lively young tenant (Darren Criss), who ultimately force Imogene to reexamine her lifestyle.

Girl Most Likely hits Blu-Ray on November 5th, 2013. Check out the clip below and be sure to pick up the Blu-Ray when it releases tomorrow.
