The Flowers Of War Coming To Blu-Ray In July
The Flowers of War, aka the most expensive Chinese production to date, came out in the US last year without much talk. I believe it was submitted as the official Oscar entry for China, but don't quote me on that. Regardless, it didn't earn Bale much attention for his performance and it didn't swoop up any awards at the Oscars.

I, Robot Coming To 3D Blu-Ray Later This Year
Fox will be releasing I, Robot on Blu-Ray 3D sometime this fall. The transfer is going to cost them about $50,000 to $70,000 per minute! In a somewhat weird announcement Fox has announced that they will be re-releasing the Will Smith sci-fi film I, Robot to Blu-Ray later this year with an all-new 3D transfer. The film is a part of a new partnership between Fox and JVC Kenwood that involves bringing older titles to 3D with proper post-conversion that costs between $50,000 and $70,000 per minute to transfer a film.

Life Coming To Blu-Ray In July
To celebrate its 100th anniversary in films Universal Studios will be releasing classic titles throughout the year for the first time ever on Blu-Ray. The latest title to get the high-def treatment is Ted Demme's Life, starring Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy.

Universal Is Bringing Big Miracle To Blu-Ray In June
Does anyone remember that whale movie Universal released a few months back? I think it was in theaters for a week or two, but it didn't make a lasting impression. Also, most reviews were negative, both from friends and family and critics. Yeah; I don't remember it either, but apparently it exists!

Tyler Perry’s Good Deeds Coming To Blu-Ray In June
If there is one filmmaker I cannot connect with it's Tyler Perry. His films, for the majority, are cheaply made and targeted towards an audience other than myself. I've tried to watch his films with a straight face, but I usually end up laughing and turning them off within 20 minutes. His latest film titled Good Deeds is no exception. I haven't fully committed to watching it just yet and that isn't likely to change.
