Anchor Bay has announced Seeking Justice, starring Nicolas Cage, Guy Pearce and January Jones, for Blu-Ray in June.
The latest Nicolas Cage movie, Seeking Justice, is coming to Blu-Ray very soon. I was one of the lucky ones that saw the film during its brief theatrical run and I can safely say that it isn’t as bad as the trailers make it out to be.
It’s actually mildly entertaining. The action sequences are filmed with an awareness that felt refreshing but there are far too many scenes of dialogue exchanged between Cage and whoever else happens to be on the screen at the time. January Jones continues impersonating a piece of wood, while Guy Pearce phones in another bad guy role.
Seeking Justice is the perfect film to catch off-guard on TNT or something, but I wouldn’t suggest purchasing it. A Redbox rental might be acceptable, but even that’s pushing it.
The Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack will be presented in 1080p with a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio track. Only one special feature has been confirmed:
