Fox Announces Act Of Valor Blu-Ray For June
Fox will be releasing the war film Act of Valor, starring real-life Navy SEALs, on Blu-Ray on June 5th, 2012. Act of Valor was originally intended to be a short commercial, advertising the Navy SEALs, but filmmakers Mike McCoy and Scott Waugh took it a step further and attempted to make an action film.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island Coming To Blu-Ray In June
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island will be coming to 3D and 3D Blu-Ray on June 5th, 2012. Originally, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island sounded like one of those weird sequels that somehow sounded like a good idea to studio executives. I had no idea the first film made enough money to warrant another and I don't recall anyone really liking the first one, kids or adults, but they still went ahead and signed Dwayne Johnson. Coming off of the highly successful Fast Five, Johnson joined Michael Caine, Luis Guzman, Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson for another 3D family adventure.

Blade II Coming To Blu-Ray In July
Warner Bros. has announced Blade II for Blu-Ray on July 10th, 2012. Not too long ago I reported on Warner Bros. announcing Blade and Blade: Trinity for Blu-Ray in June. For some reason they left out the Guillermo del Toro directed sequel Blade II. It looks like they've listened to the negative comments and have now decided to release the film in accordance with the other two. The Wesley Snipes starring sequel also stars Kris Kristofferson and Ron Perlman.
