Leatherface 3D Plot Revealed
It looks like Lionsgate is moving right along with the production of the upcoming Leatherface 3D. According to Bloody-Disgusting they are very close to confirming John Luessenhop for directing duties with Debra Sullivan, Adam Marcus and Stephen Susco penning the script. The film will act as a direct sequel to Tobe Hooper's classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre and it will begin shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana in June.

James Marsh’s Project Nim Trailer
Director James Marsh is known for directing the 100% certified fresh Man on Wire. Right now, it is currently one of the best reviewed films of all time, according to Rotten Tomatoes. His next film is Project Nim and it's a documentary about an experiment that was held in the 1970's that was aimed at teaching chimps ways of communication by raising and nurturing them like a human being. It looks interesting enough, but I doubt it will be able to live up to the hype of his last film.

Retreat Trailer Starring Cillian Murphy And Thandie Newton
Director Carl Tibbetts is making his debut with upcoming horror/suspense film, Retreat. The trailer for the film is now online and it's looking pretty promising. I love the actors involved and I am huge fan of the virus/infection genre of films, so my hopes are set somewhat high for this one. I love the idea of having it set out in the middle of nowhere on an island, with them not knowing anything about an infection. Retreat stars Cillian Murphy, Thandie Newton and Jamie Bell and its release date is unknown right now, but Sony plans on releasing it sometime later this year

Tomb Raider Reboot Now Has Writers
According to THR, GK Films has acquired the film rights to Tomb Raider a few months ago with intentions of rebooting the franchise. Writers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby have been hired to pen the script with Graham King and Tim Headington producing. Fergus and Otsby are known for their work on the Oscar nominated film, Children of Men and their most recent work on Iron Man, Akira and the upcoming Cowboys & Aliens.

Martha Marcy May Marlene Trailer
Martha Marcy May Marlene is a film that has received tons of positive feedback at Sundance this year and it is being described as a very intense drama. The film is about a woman who is trying to re-establish a normal life after leaving an abusive cult. The trailer definitely makes you question what exactly is going on in the film and I love it! I can't wait to find out this is all about!

First Clip For The Tree Of Life
Terrence Malick is known for his unique way of telling a story with very powerful images. He has only made four films in his long career, but each film managed to give you a sense of awe. The way he crafts his stories is unlike anyone else working in Hollywood. His films are very deep and consist of many layers. His newest film, The Tree of Life, is being released next month and so far nothing has been let out on what this film is exactly about. We were given a trailer and a brief synopsis and the rest was for us to guess.

I Am Legend Prequel Not Happening
When I Am Legend was released in theaters it brought in $584 million dollars worldwide which meant that they were probably going to be re-visiting the movie in the near future. In 2008 director Francis Lawrence discussed his plans for a possible prequel with himself at the helm and Will Smith returning to star. It would take place before the virus broke out and show the final days of New York City. MTV was able to get an exclusive interview with director Francis Lawrence who says that the prequel is "off the table" and that he doesn't think it is ever going to happen.

The Ledge Trailer
Yahoo has released a trailer for the upcoming thriller, The Ledge. The film is written and directed by Mathew Chapman and it stars Patrick Wilson, Liv Tyler, Terrence Howard and Charlie Hunnam. The film opened at Sundance a few months ago and received mediocre reviews. It does look interesting though and I'm keeping my hopes high. Check out the official synopsis and trailer below:

Wrath Of The Titans Set Photos
Early set photos have emerged for Warner Bros. upcoming film, Wrath of the Titans. Tumba Abierta has provided the set photos which mainly consist of buildings and a wooden boat. The photos aren't anything groundbreaking, but they are an early indicator of the setting of the film, which is a small village that our hero Perseus now resides in.
