Family Guy, despite its television roots, is not a stranger to the world of video games. A previous title, appropriately named Family Guy Video Game! was released in 2006 for the original Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PSP. Hot off its launch last month on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the downloadable 2D tournament fighter, Skullgirls, has been confirmed for a PC release. The game, developed by Reverge Labs and published by Konami, will be available through PC digital distribution. Services that will offer it include Steam, Origin, Gamefly, GamersGate, and Gamestop PC Downloads.
This afternoon, Microsoft announced the end of production for all of the content under its Inside Xbox label. Short programs that were available for streaming on the Xbox 360 console, including Major's Minute, Featured Videos, Insider Moves, and Xbox 101, will no longer be producing new episodes.
After being announced back in March, the Xbox LIVE Arcade port of the arcade classic Dragon's Lair has now received a firm release date of May 18. Originally released in 1983, the game made use of laser disc technology to incorporate high-quality animated footage from veteran animator Don Bluth.
