Amazon Outs The Existence Of Family Guy: Back To The Multiverse

Family Guy, despite its television roots, is not a stranger to the world of video games. A previous title, appropriately named Family Guy Video Game! was released in 2006 for the original Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PSP. Although the series' other video game releases only made it to mobile platforms, it looks like it may be headed to at least two home consoles later this year.

Amazon.com has put up pages for Family Guy: Back To The Multiverse from Activision, showing Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. Both have a listed release date of September 25. The only other detail offered is the fact that the game is categorized as a shooter. Seeing how a previous episode, “Road to the Multiverse“, revolved around the idea of characters visiting wildly different dimensions, it can be assumed that this game may have a similar world-hopping premise.

We will keep you updated on Family Guy: Back To The Multiverse as more details become available.
