Despite the fact that Suicide Squad was ultimately considered a letdown by most, it’s hard to lay the fault entirely on David Ayer’s doorstep. The film was the victim of a substantial amount of studio meddling and though the direction wasn’t perfect, Ayer was far from the biggest problem with Task Force X’s first outing on the big screen. As such, we’re definitely excited to see what he’s cooked up with the upcoming spinoff, Gotham City Sirens.

Admittedly, there's nothing in the way of new footage here, as it's more just a condensed version of the original trailer recut into a bite-sized promo, but when it comes to a film like this, we'll take anything we can get - be it new or recycled footage.

Though the DC Extended Universe looked to be in rough shape there for a while, things finally began to turn around this week when Warner Bros. announced that Matt Reeves was locked in to direct The Batman. Following that, they then confirmed Ben Affleck's involvement as well, signalling that everything was good to go on the Caped Crusader's solo outing. But there was also another announcement which took the internet by storm, and that was that Chris McKay, director of The LEGO Batman Movie, would be bringing us a Nightwing film.
