Soul Calibur 5 Gameplay Trailer
It’s unusual to have a video such as this made available on the internet before it has had its five minutes strutting around on E3’s mega stage, but here it is nonetheless. Namco have been working hard on Soul Calibur V under the radar for a quite a while now and until this trailer, we’ve only had teaser videos and barely recognizable screenshots to ponder over.

Playstation Store Officially Back Online
After over a month of down time, the Playstation Store is officially live again as of this morning. Sony said the following via the Playstation Blog "I'm happy to confirm that PlayStation Store is open and you can now download content and redeem voucher codes. We will update you with the full lists of new content available to PlayStation Network members and PlayStation Plus subscribers here on the PlayStation.Blog in the next few hours.”

Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Diary
Hot on the heels of the Uncharted 3 beta details, Sony have released a short developer diary/behind the scenes video showcasing some of the multiplayer magic that Naughty Dog and their amazing talents have been cooking up. PS3 owners will soon be able to play test the online madness themselves...assuming the PS Store is back up by the end of June.

Call Of Duty Elite Officially Revealed
We all knew it was coming, very few of us liked the idea of its inevitable arrival, and yet today Activision blew the lid off their new Call Of Duty subscription service, aptly named ‘Elite’. This new service will be introduced alongside Modern Warfare 3 later this year as predicted, but players worldwide will also be able to take part in the Blacks Ops ‘Elite’ beta before then. Depending on how fans respond to this, ‘Elite’ will become a regular feature in any new Call Of Duty titles from here on. The details and blurb are below, but I must confess that at the moment I really don’t see the appeal...especially seeing as I don’t see a price yet.

Uncharted 3 Beta Details Surface
So finally we have the juicy details of what exactly we will be able to test out in Naughty Dog’s hugely anticipated online demo. Drake’s Deception will be the third instalment in the treasure hunting/gun slinging adventure and Sony are launching a public beta for the multiplayer modes (yes plural...get excited) on June 28th for everyone with a copy of Infamous 2 or Playstation Plus members...note: this will be all of us when the Store is up and we receive our ‘welcome back’ package from Sony.

Valve Unveils Portal 2 Contest
The lovely collection of people behind the brilliance of Portal 2 and everything puzzly, are opening up a map making competition to their fans. The contest asks players to use their brain power and imagination in perfect harmony, to produce a challenging and enjoyable room of head scratching genius. If you are interested in entering then carefully read the entry requirements and rules below. Valve’s map making contest will be open for participation from May 24th until June 6th, so currently it’s only a couple of days in. Feeling devilishly clever anyone?
