Supergirl returned to CBS last night with an explosive new episode, and the network has today released the official description for the eleventh outing. An interesting bit of trivia about this instalment is the fact that Melissa Benoist’s real-life husband Blake Jenner is going to be making an appearance, and details on his role in Supergirl can be found below.
Last year, IMAX announced plans to release four special edition posters for Star Wars: The Force Awakens which would be given out during the first four weeks of release. Agent Carter is set to return to ABC on January 19th for a special two hour premiere which will see Hayley Atwell reprise the role of Peggy Carter for a second season of adventure and intrigue. With the action now moved from New York to Hollywood, the focus of the series is going to shift to the titular hero fighting against new Atomic Age threats in the wake of World War II in what the network calls her most dangerous assignment yet.

Very little is know about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as of right now, other than the fact Godzilla helmer Gareth Edwards is directing from a script by Gary Whitta, Chris Weitz, and possibly Christopher McQuarrie, if reports of him offering a few touch ups are accurate. The cast, meanwhile, is made up of names like Felicity Jones, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Forest Whitaker and Riz Ahmed.

Last September, Michael Bay took to Twitter to make it clear that despite reports stating that he would direct a fifth instalment of the Transformers franchise, he had not yet agreed to take the helm of the movie. It was surprising to see the filmmaker publicly distance himself from the franchise when they've all been such huge hits, but no one could have really blamed Bay for walking away after directing four of the CGI heavy blockbusters.
