With a little over a month to go until the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Disney are really kicking the movie's promotional campaign into the next gear.
The first promo has been released for next week's episode of Arrow, and it picks up almost immediately after the events of tonight's instalment (which revolved around the return of Ray Palmer). As it turns out, The Atom being kept prisoner by Damien Darhk isn't the only secret the villain is keeping; he also has something - or someone - very close to Diggle!
As of right now, it doesn't seem like an exaggeration to call Star Wars: The Force Awakens perhaps the most highly anticipated movie of all-time. After Star Wars fans were left disappointed by three prequels, the signs are pointing to J.J. Abrams delivering a return to form for the beloved franchise, and everything we've seen from the movie so far looks great.
The CW has released the first clip from tomorrow night's episode of Arrow, and it picks up with Felicity desperately trying to discover what's happened to Ray Palmer. The closing moments of the last instalment of Arrow featured the reveal that The Atom is still alive, something which won't surprise anyone who has seen so much as a single poster for DC's Legends of Tomorrow!
While Ant-Man wasn't the runaway success that Guardians of the Galaxy was back in 2014, it still did respectable numbers at the box office and sailed past the $500 million mark thanks to a very strong opening in China recently. With a sequel - Ant-Man and The Wasp - dated for 2018 and Scott Lang set to appear in Captain America: Civil War next year, things are definitely looking good for this pint-sized superhero.
The Star Wars prequels are among the most despised movies in history, and while they certainly have their fans, the majority of Star Wars lovers dismiss them as being an insult to the franchise. There have been endless debates about what George Lucas did wrong while telling the story of the young Anakin Skywalker, but regardless of whatever your stance on them may be, one person who delights in expressing his hatred for this trilogy is Simon Pegg.
This week's episode of Supergirl featured a brief appearance from the Man of Steel and Kara Danvers taking on perhaps her most formidable opponent to date when she clashed with Reactron. Now, CBS has released a first look at what's to come in the fourth instalment of Supergirl's debut season, and it doesn't sound like her life is going to be getting any easier!
Following tonight's shocking episode of Gotham which saw things between Detective Jim Gordon and Barbara Gordon finally reach a head, not to mention a dangerous new alliance between two future Batman villains, Fox has released a promo for next week's instalment.
These days, everyone wants to star in a Marvel movie. With even Ant-Man grossing upwards of $500 million worldwide, you can’t really blame any actor for wanting to get in on that sort of action. It should come as no surprise then that when Sienna Miller (Foxcatcher) was recently asked if she'd be up for taking on the role of Captain Marvel, she was very enthusiastic about the possibility.
For a very long time, it appeared as if Deadpool was never going to happen. Even when Fox announced a release date, fans still weren't convinced, and it wasn't until the casting stages that everyone realised the movie was really happening. One of the most surprising additions to the movie was no doubt MMA fighter turned actress Gina Carano (Haywire), especially as she'll be playing a relatively obscure character called Angel Dust.
