Riverdale hasn't been a runaway success for The CW, but it so far seems to be doing fairly well. If nothing else, it's introduced viewers to a lot of young up and coming actors, and among them is Trevor Stines. He plays Jason Blossom in the show, but it turns out that he now has his eye on an entirely different sort of comic book role.
Last night, Marvel sent fanboys into a frenzy when they released an exciting new featurette for Avengers: Infinity War. Though it didn't show off any footage, we got some quick interviews with the cast and crew and even a bit of concept art, all teasing what's to come. And according to the Russos, what's to come will be unlike anything we've ever seen on film before. Bold words, to be sure, but something tells us they hold some truth.
A superb start to season 2 thanks to excellent performances from Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti, along with a compelling new status quo, ensures that Billions remains one of the best shows on television today.
2017 is going to be the year of Anya Taylor-Joy, mark our words. After a huge 2016 with roles in The Witch, Morgan and more, which quickly put her on the map and made her one of Hollywood's most exciting rising stars, she kicked off this year with the really rather fantastic Split. With several other projects lining up her slate, things look to keep going up for the actress and today brings word of yet another exciting career move.
After the success of John Wick, stuntman turned director Chad Stahelski found himself with offers flooding in. However, unlike his co-director David Leitch, who departed for The Coldest City and Deadpool 2, Stahelski stayed on board the Keanu Reeves-led action series and this weekend he brought us John Wick: Chapter 2. Another bloody, thrilling and wholly enjoyable flick, it undoubtedly opened up even more doors for the filmmaker, and where he'll go next is anyone's guess.
Keanu Reeves is in the midst of a pretty awesome comeback right now. After appearing in two of the most iconic action films of the 90s, and quite possibly of all-time, the actor didn't have the best luck. In recent years, however, his fortunes have turned, and that's mostly thanks to John Wick. The film saw Reeves play the titular hitman and though it didn't do gangbusters at the box office, it became something of a cult hit and turned enough heads to warrant a sequel.
The Berlin Film Festival has only just kicked off, but already it's proven to be tremendously busy, with numerous high profile projects coming together and many actors and actresses finding their next roles. Everyone from Jake Gyllenhaal to Tom Hanks have been making headlines over in Germany and now, we're learning of three more talented individuals who've found a new project to sink their teeth into.
All's gone quiet in regards to Deadpool 2 ever since the sequel snagged David Leitch to direct. We imagine that 20th Century Fox is now deep into the casting process and the two roles that everyone's waiting for news on are, of course, Cable and Domino. Many actors and actresses have been linked to the parts over the past few months, but so far, the studio has kept quiet, not even releasing so much as a shortlist to let us know who may be in contention.
Earlier today, Marvel released a very cool behind the scenes video for Avengers: Infinity War presented by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Pratt, and Tom Holland. As you may have noticed, it also featured some concept art for the Joe and Anthony Russo helmed movie, and you can take a closer look at that in the gallery above.
