The CW has released the first clip from next Monday's episode of Supergirl (the first part of the four night "Invasion!" crossover), and in it we get a quick tease of what's to come when The Flash and Cisco make their way to the Earth that Kara Danvers calls home.
With box office tracking pointing to a massive opening weekend for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the marketing campaign for the highly anticipated release is really beginning to pick up steam. Today, that means we have a brand new international banner which shows off the Rebels heading into battle against the Empire as the Death Star looms in the background.
Last week, many fans expected some sort of new look at Justice League to celebrate the fact that the movie was exactly one year away from being released. Unfortunately, nothing came, but it turns out that director Zack Snyder has actually been sharing set photos from the highly anticipated DC Comics adaptation for over two months without anyone realizing.
It's been a long time coming, but next November will finally see the release of Justice League. However, this November we get to see a plethora of our favorite heroes come together in the DC TV crossover, which kicks off in Supergirl on Monday and continues in The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow throughout the week.
Suicide Squad may be back in the spotlight now thanks to its recently released Extended Cut, but make no mistake about it, the next DCEU film taking up the lion's share of fans' minds right now is without a doubt Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman.
It's no secret that the God of Thunder has had a bit of a difficult time connecting with audiences when it comes to his solo outings. While Thor and Thor: The Dark World were far from what we'd call bad films, they're certainly on the weaker side in regards to what Marvel usually puts out, paling in comparison to stuff like Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, etc.
Unfortunately, there will be no new episodes of Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow this week, but on the plus side, we're just days away from The CW's highly anticipated four night crossover. Kicking off with Supergirl on Monday and the continuing in The Flash and the shows mentioned above, it will pit the DC Comics characters against a horde of alien invaders known as The Dominators, and if this promo makes one thing clear, it's that the whole planet is at stake as they go to war with our heroes.
The CW has released the first official images from the 101st episode of Arrow (which airs after next week's crossover), and in them we get to see Oliver Queen back in his season one costume. Chances are that this is a flashback to the events of that year rather than him donning it for other reasons because we've previously heard that Prometheus is tied to the hero's past.
Tonight's Kevin Smith-helmed episode of The Flash put the focus on Killer Frost as Caitlin Snow attempted to control her villainous alter-ego, but it also featured the Scarlet Speedster coming face to face with Savitar in an epic battle. As a result, we now know that the "Speed God" is the one pulling the strings and that Dr. Alchemy has been serving him all along.
In the incredible first teaser trailer for Logan, we saw that Wolverine's healing factor is finally beginning to fail him. That's something the comic books have dealt with on numerous occasions, and when it happened in the Marvel Universe a couple of years ago, things wrapped up with the death of the iconic hero. Will this movie follow suit?
