EA Accidentally Reveals Battlefield 4 In Origin Ad
Gamers browsing through EA's Origin download service late yesterday were met with an advertisement telling them that they could get "exclusive Battlefield 4 beta access" if they pre-ordered Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Considering Battlefield 4 has never been announced, that makes for a great pre-order incentive and one hell of a nightmare for the game's marketing team.

Rumor: Leaked Pictures Of The PS3 Super Slim Hit The Internet
Earlier this month FCC documents were uncovered that detailed the FCC label position on a smaller version of the PS3, dubbed the PS3 Super Slim. Sony has not yet announced any such hardware, nor have they commented on the FCC documents, but the PS3 Super Slim got a little more real this week with the discovery of some unconfirmed pictures of the system.

Valve Has “No Plans To Change” Following Court Ruling On Digital Games
The European Court of Justice ruled earlier this month that consumers have the right to resell video games that they were purchased through digital distribution services, provided they disable their original copy after the sale has occurred. Valve would seemingly be one of the companies hit hardest by the ruling, as it directly impacts Steam's business model, however recent statements by Valve execs indicate that nothing is going to change.

Trophy Support For Metal Gear Solid 4 Announced
The latest issue Famitsu, as translated by Andriasang, has revealed that a new "PlayStation 3 The Best" budget version of Metal Gear Solid 4 will be released in Japan this August that will finally bring Trophy support to the title. Current Metal Gear Solid 4 owners will also be getting a patch to gives them access to the Trophies in the budget version, but it is unclear as to exactly when the patch will be released.

Rumor: 343 Industries Working On Halo 2 Anniversary
According to the latest issue of OXM UK, 343 Industries has started development on another Halo remake, this time for Halo 2 Anniversary. The magazine does not cite a source for the rumor, but simply states, "Following the success of remake Halo Anniversary, 343 Industries has now started development of Halo 2 Anniversary."
