Activision Warns Investors Of Post-2013 Destiny Launch
During the weekend debut of Bungie's latest project, Destiny, the developer was careful to never pin down an exact release date for the persistent-world first-person shooter. Activision Publishing has since sent out a press release announcing the title and warning their investors that the game is not part of the company's 2013 fiscal forecast.

Team Meat Teases Mew-Genics Cat Fights, Full Reveal Next Week
Over the weekend Team Meat teased that their "game about cats", Mew-Genics, will feature full on (literal) cat fights as part of its core design. The game's co-creator, Edmund McMillen, didn't expand upon how the fighting-felines will fit into the overall structure, but the teaser artwork did reveal that Butch will be in charge of the "shady" event -- confirming at least one part of our speculation as to what this crazy title is actually about.

Sony Drops PlayStation Vita Price In Japan, Announces Ice Silver Color
During an extremely short notice live streaming presentation early this morning, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced that they will drop the price of both the Wi-Fi and 3G models of the PlayStation Vita on February 28th to 19,980 yen (approximately $212 US). This is down from 24,980 yen ($266 US) for the Wi-Fi model, and 29,980 yen ($319 US) for the 3G model.

No Wiimote Controls For Resident Evil: Revelations
Gamers with superior intellect have always considered the Wii port of Resident Evil 4 to be the definitive version of Capcom's classic game. Not only does it contain all of extras found in both GameCube and PS2 releases, but it also supports the Wii Remote's IR Pointer for quick and precise aiming/shooting. With Resident Evil: Revelations headed to the Wii U this May, some of these right-thinking individuals recently asked Capcom if the 3DS port would also include an option to use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk combo. Sadly, it does not appear that the developer is planning to make the right call.

Rumor: WSJ Reports PlayStation 4 Will Stream PS3 Games Via Gaikai
Citing unnamed sources "familiar with [Sony's] plans", The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the unannounced PlayStation 4 will utilize their Cloud Gaming technology -- which was obtained during the $380 million acquisition of Gaikai in August 2012 -- to allow players to stream PS3 games to the new console. According to the report, next generation PS4 games will still be delivered via optical discs, and the game streaming service will only be used as a backwards compatibility solution.
