About The Author

Lindsay Sperling has A.D.D. and her tastes reflect it. Her movie collection boasts everything from Casablanca to John Tucker Must Die to every season of Sons of Anarchy to-date. She adamantly supported a Veronica Mars Movie (yes, she did make a donation to see it happen..and also possibly for the t-shirt), hopes that the Fast & Furious franchise continues far into the future, and has read every popular YA book series turned film in recent years (except Harry Potter..). When she's not on an indie film set or educating the youth of America, she uses her time arguably productive as a freelance writer.

The Vampire Diaries Review: “No Exit” (Season 5, Episode 14)
The Vampire Diaries has transformed the only vampire we love to hate (and love) more than Katherine Pierce (Nina Dobrev) into a vampire that simply put, can't be trusted. You may be trying to figure out how this is a new twist when it comes to Damon (Ian Somerhalder). The truth being that he completely possessed this fun little trait way before being injected with Dr. Wes's ripper serum, but at least then he was in control of his behavior - whichever direction it leaned. Take away the element of control and you open Damon up to entire world of regrettable decisions that fall into the forgivable category. New territory for Mystic Falls' resident bad boy - and a worthy reason as any for Stefan (Paul Wesley) to swoop in on his white horse and save the day.

Justified Review: “Raw Deal” (Season 5, Episode 7)
It's not that this episode of Justified was uneventful. In fact, it's quite the opposite. At its core though, the characters and their actions were a bit too predictable to make it a contender for thrilling. The story keeps moving, but at the same time it has managed to fall into a rut, seemingly moseying through the midpoint of the season as if Justified is simply intent on going through the motions just to say they did.

Pretty Little Liars Review: “She’s Come Undone” (Season 4, Episode 21)
Valentine's Day is officially over and Pretty Little Liars is pouring on the heartbreak. Not only is Aria (Lucy Hale) suffering from the abrupt end of her relationship, but she's consumed with all the 'what if's' that go along with the betrayal. Ezra (Ian Harding) may have tucked and ran to New York after their ultra-emotional ski lift confrontation to avoid watching the fall out of his decisions, but Aria is free falling toward rock bottom and it looks like she's got plenty of time before she hits the ground - lucky her.

Teen Wolf Review: “Echo House” (Season 3, Episode 20)
Dr. Deaton (Seth Gilliam) may have been able to supress the evil spirit, or Nogitsune, inside Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), but just long enough for a 72 hour psych evaluation. This set the stage to bring us back to the mental institute that was previewed on the last episode of Teen Wolf. There was something about this place that heightened Lydia's (Holland Roden) banshee senses when it seemed like all of Beacon Hills was frantically searching for Stiles. And there's still something mysterious about this facility. The only question is whether or not Stiles will find out what it is before he goes back to being a prisoner in his own body.

Pretty Little Liars Review: “Free Fall” (Season 4, Episode 20)
The 'is he, isn't he?' battle still rages on this episode of Pretty Little Liars and no one is being declared the winner just yet. For the past few episodes Spencer (Troian Bellisario) has been following clues which ended up linking Ezra (Ian Harding) to a slew of A-like behavior and Ali's stolen diary, sending him straight to the top of the suspect list. Before the Liars can confront Aria (Lucy Hale) with the truth though they are side stepped by another revelation. And frankly, Spencer should be insulted that it took her best friends this long to notice.

Beauty And The Beast Review: “Redemption” (Season 2, Episode 14)
Nothing moves at even a remotely glacial pace on this season of Beauty and the Beast, and this episode is no exception. After a brief weekend hiatus, our favorite crime fighters are back to work. Hot on the trail of Sam (Tom Everett Scott), who has dedicated the last six years of his life to avenging the death of his young son (a mystery still to be unraveled), they continue with their faux-funeral plans hoping that with Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) out of the picture, they have a better shot at closing the case.

Star-Crossed Series Premiere Review: “Pilot” (Season 1, Episode 1)
The CW hasn't premiered a show breaching the extraterrestrial terrain since it' predecessor, the WB, made a short-lived hit out of Roswell in 1999. 15 years later the network is attempting to tap into the same market with it's new midseason series, Star-Crossed. And as the title hints at (loudly), there's an underlying Romeo and Juliet love story threatening to take center stage at any moment.
