Not that it should surprise anyone, but early reviews are now in for Alejandro González Iñárritu’s The Revenant, and of course, they're extremely positive. Critics are praising the film as a whole, and many are stating that 2016 could be the year that Leonardo DiCaprio FINALLY wins an Oscar.
Angelina Jolie hasn't exactly been having very good luck at the box office lately, or with critics for that matter. That hasn't seemed to hurt her though, as Universal is still hoping to work with the actress/director on two of its upcoming projects.
HBO has just unveiled the first official artwork for the upcoming sixth season of Game Of Thrones, and it would seem to leave no doubt about the fate of Kit Harington's Jon Snow.
Last night's episode of AMC's The Walking Dead finally revealed the fate of Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), and as many fans had guessed, he did indeed survive the walker attack by crawling underneath the dumpster. Eventually, it was safe for him to leave, and after doing so, he ran into Enid, who had no interest in returning to Alexandria with him - but he's not taking no for an answer.
We've been seeing the unmistakable logos for both the Dark Knight (Ben Affleck) and the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) everywhere on promotional material for Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and now we can add Wonder Woman's (Gal Gadot) official symbol to the mix.
Earlier this week, Marvel confirmed that, despite rumors to the contrary, they're still planning to bring us Iron Fist, one of their planned Netflix series that was said to be scrapped a few months ago. We really haven't heard anything at all about it in some time and word on the street was that the studio just couldn't crack it.
Warner Bros. has announced the commencement of production on director Patty Jenkins' solo Wonder Woman movie with a press release detailing the new cast additions, as well as an image giving us our first official look at Gal Gadot (in this movie, anyway) as Princess Diana herself.
Love 'em of hate 'em, you'd have to admit that the CW's DC superhero TV shows have done an excellent job of cross-promoting their characters with Arrow and The Flash, and next year they'll be adding a whole new series to the mix: DC's Legends Of Tomorrow. We've known the show was set for an early 2016 premiere for a while, but now thanks to a recent interview with Warner Bros. president of television Peter Roth, it appears we have an exact air date.
I'm sure C-3PO wouldn't appreciate being called old, so let's go with classic! In this Star Wars: The Force Awakens themed advert from the O2 network, original saga droids Threepio and Artoo find themselves in a very similar situation to the one they did at the beginning of A New Hope: stranded on Tatooine (though this is probably supposed to be Jakku) without a clue what to do next, awaiting their fateful meeting with Luke Skywalker. The only difference here is that instead of being captured by Jawas, they run into the cute little droid we'll be introduced to this December, BB-8.
