Stephen King's creepy short story, The Mist, was already adapted into an underrated feature from Frank Darabont back in 2007, but Spike's small-screen take on the material promises to be something quite different, as this terrifying first trailer will attest to.
Following American Gods character promos for Shadow Moon, Mr. Wednesday, Mad Sweeney and Laura, we now move on to an Old God who was, at one time, one of the most powerful deities in existence, but has greatly diminished by the time we catch up with her in the story: Queen Bilquis, the Goddess of Love, who will be played by Masters of Sex actress Yetide Badaki.
Filming continues this week in Scotland on Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War, and we now have an exciting new video from the set to share with you. We recently saw some images of Elizabeth Olsen and her stunt double rehearsing an explosive action scene on the cobbled streets of Edinburgh, but here we get a much better look at what the sequence will entail.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returned for its third and final season 4 "pod" last week with a mind-bending journey into The Framework, and tomorrow night, Daisy and Simmons continue their mission to rescue their teammates from the HYDRA-controlled reality they find themselves unwittingly trapped in. A previous sneak peek from the episode brought us up to speed with Mack and his young daughter, and this latest clip seemingly takes place immediately after the midseason premiere's closing scene, as Daisy is finally able to get through to her old mentor and father figure, Phil Coulson.
Celebration is almost here, and that means Star Wars is quickly starting to dominate headlines as anticipation and hype for The Last Jedi kicks into overdrive. Of course, it won't only be the Rian Johnson-directed film that shows up at the event next week, but it will no doubt take up the lion's share of the attention, and understandably so. After all, Disney's kept an awfully tight lid on everything - unlike The Force Awakens, which saw some major leaks before it hit theatres - and as such, we really have no idea what to expect from the next chapter in the saga.
Lots of interesting developments going on in the DC Extended Universe this weekend, with a leaked report on Reddit sending fanboys into a frenzy over the future of their favorite characters. One of the most intriguing things to come out of the leak was that apparently, Deathstroke will no longer be the main villain of The Batman. Don't worry, he'll still show up in some capacity, but the lead antagonist might be someone else, as director Matt Reeves aims to make a larger scale film, one which will feature many of the Bat's fiercest foes.
Season 7 of The Walking Dead was uneven, to say the least. After an explosive premiere that took the lives of two beloved characters, the pace slowed down tremendously, with the show meandering as it took its time drawing out numerous storylines. Thankfully, after the mid-winter break, things picked up significantly and the series barrelled towards its conclusion, which aired last weekend and set the stage perfectly for the "All-Out War" arc, which will no doubt make up the bulk of season 8.
Though on the surface it seemed to be very much its own film - and in many ways, it was - there were quite a few easter eggs in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story that connected it to the franchise. Some were right there, out in the open, while others took repeat viewings to catch. Regardless, there were certainly a lot of them to be found and now, with the spinoff finally on Blu-ray, more and more nods, references and direct connections to the saga are being revealed.
Like most DC Extended Universe films, The Flash hasn't exactly had the easiest time getting off the ground. While the television version of the character, currently seen on The CW, has found huge success, the big screen outing hasn't quite come together just yet. After losing two directors in Seth Grahame-Smith and Rick Famuyiwa, the script is now being re-written from scratch and it appears as if the project is a long ways away from getting in front of cameras. Or is it?
Ever since it was announced that Deathstroke would be the main villain in The Batman, and Joe Manganiello would be playing him, excitement has been through the roof. Fans were ecstatic to hear that the character would be entering the DCEU with a solid actor chosen to bring him to life on the big screen. Even throughout all the production troubles that plagued the film early on, that always remained the one constant. The one thing we knew we could look forward to seeing, no matter what happened with Big Ben behind the scenes.
