Olympus Has Fallen Review
Sure, you can prematurely call Antoine Fuqua's newest film Die Hard In The White House Except Substitute Gerard Butler For Bruce Willis, but that would be a wrongful generalization on many levels. For one, that's a silly name, and if you actually read that whole title, you're therefore a silly person. Secondly, Fuqua's Olympus Has Fallen does not match the quality achieved by one of the most legendary action flicks of all time, so don't expect equal levels of unrivaled entertainment. Lastly, you'd also be a fool for writing off Olympus Has Fallen as just another generic explody action blockbuster.

Actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach has been doing his thing around Hollywood, showing up in a pretty decent array of material, but no previous work our heroic actor has ever done could prepare him for a leading role in Makinov's Come Out And Play. Playing the lead character Francis, Ebon has to face off against an island full of murderous children, all the while protecting his pregnant wife played by Vinessa Shaw. Talk about the vacation from hell.

How much would you pay to greenlight a sequel to your favorite movie or resurrect your favorite canceled TV show for a feature length film? Would you donate $10 and receive a page of the actual script, or would you donate $10,000 in return for an on-screen talking role in the film itself? Sure, it's worked for short films and other projects, but could a big-budget film requiring millions of dollars in start-up cash be able to raise enough from the public to appease studio heads before investing themselves?

Antoine Fuqua is a multi-talented man to say the least. Attending West Virginia with a basketball scholarship, he studied electrical engineering (focusing on electromagnetism and signal processing), went on to dabble as a Golden Gloves boxer, and finally ended his diverse journey by becoming a Hollywood director - and a damn fine one at that. You know him from Training Day, Shooter, Tears of the Sun, King Arthur, Brooklyn's Finest, and his newest film Olympus Has Fallen once it hits theaters March 22nd.

Evil Dead WonderCon Teaser Reveals More Horror Footage
Evil Dead came to Austin, Texas for the annual South By Southwest festival, saw the hordes of superfans lining up for its premiere, and it majorly conquered to the delight of fans everywhere. While I personally didn't make it to Texas, and despite the fact that I now hate each and every one of you who did out of blindly furious jealousy, horror fans can breathe a little easier knowing Fede Alvarez's "remake" is the real deal.

Nato And Remy’s Last Stand: Masks Make The Man
I make masks, you know? I know you don't, because the only people who know that are all dead - but I really do. My love for horror caused me to start picking up different old school masks and modding them out. The thing is, once you have a terrifying mask, there's really nothing you can do but go out and murder people in them. I mean I put so much effort into them, why shouldn't I show them off?! Yes, Aaron Eckhart surely has quite the diverse background of characters, but he always delivers - and does so yet again portraying the leader of our marvelous country.

Doing his best John McClane impression, Butler attempts to recreate Die Hard in a political setting, while both facing off and working with a star-studded cast.

The Simpsons Movie 2 Still Years Away From Production
Back in 2007, The Simpsons Movie brought Fox's long-running animated sitcom to tremendously profitable new heights, raking in roughly $500 million dollars. While extremely profitable, posting boast-worthy numbers, this was just another achievement on a rapidly growing list for creator Matt Groening's seemingly unstoppable cartoon, which has since become America's longest-running primetime scripted television series. But with such a tremendous cinematic success and rave reviews (90% critics score/78% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes), The Simpsons Movie 2 seemed to be a no brainer, right?
