It's been a long, strange journey for those of us who've been following season 1 of HBO's new kid on the block, Westworld. The show arrived with a considerable amount of hype, with many proclaiming it would be the next Game of Thrones - a juggernaut series which captures the attention of everyone and keeps you talking about it nonstop throughout its run.
Deadline is reporting tonight that Rob Letterman has been brought in to direct Detective Pikachu, Legendary's live-action Pokemon movie. Plot details remain thin on the ground at the time of writing, but we do know that the script, from Nicole Perlman and Alex Hirsch, follows the titular character and will be set in the world of the iconic gaming series.
Reflecting on his time headlining The Amazing Spider-Man series, Andrew Garfield has said that "story and character were not top of the priority list."
