International Teaser For The Adventures Of Tintin
I've seen the French comic strips about a boy and his white dog experiencing all kinds of adventures, from espionage to simply out-racing bad guys. The boy's name was Tintin and the dog was called…Snowy. The first main character's name was outstanding, the second only appropriate. Imagine my jaw-dropping shock when I found out that three stories from the comic book series were the basis for a 3-D movie coming out this year, with Steven Spielberg as its director.

More Photos Of Jennifer Lawrence In The Hunger Games
Promotional shots of Jennifer Lawrence (star of X-Men: First Class) in The Hunger Games are in, thanks to Entertainment Weekly and The Film Stage. Not only is the heroine of Gary Ross’ adaptation of The Hunger Games completely in costume with her bow and arrows, she is also featuring her new hair dye as Katniss Everdeen. There are no photos of the rest of the cast, which includes Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, and Stanley Tucci. I honestly do not know if the actual character Jennifer Lawrence is playing looks remotely similar to the description of Katniss in the original novel, since I have never read any volumes in The Hunger Games. However, the photos look great, making Lawrence a cool cross between the Greek goddess Diana and a girl who happens to like wearing all-leather outfits. Hopefully, movie stills will be released soon for The Hunger Games.

New Kung Fu Panda 2 Clip
In this clip, we get a peek at the return of Jack Black's character, the overweight Po who is now a part of the Furious Five. The wise-cracking panda seems to also have retained his appetite as well as his flair for being a comical martial arts master who needs constant help from his friends in all matters of strategy.

Cillian Murphy Joins Two New Films
Cillian Murphy seems to be headed toward a radical change as far as his popularity is concerned. While the actor has had prominent roles in films like Inception and Batman Begins, as well as strong performances in some lesser known films like Breakfast on Pluto, the actor is still not a household name. Things may change though as he is joining two new films. This Irishman is about to get a taste of being in the spotlight. Murphy has committed to two films, both opposite in content and tone. The first is an adaptation of Daniel Clay’s Broken, directed by first-timer Rufus Norris with a script by Mark O’Rowe. Production on Broken hasn't started yet, but the film is more or less described as a modern To Kill a Mockingbird set in northern England. BBC Films Head Christine Langan explained the themes of the story, saying that "it’s very dark but with a note of redemption.”

Two Snow White Films Have 2012 Release Dates
Tarsem Singh’s The Brothers Grimm: Snow White (the film’s permanent title is still in question) and Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman are now scheduled to be released in theaters. Universal had a press release on May 15, officially announcing that its “epic action-adventure” take on the fairy tale Snow White will be in theaters on June 1, 2012, a full six months earlier than its original release date in December 2012. That’s four weeks exactly before The Brothers Grimm: Snow White, which will be playing alongside Universal’s flick on June 29.

New Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Photos
Be prepared for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Slayer, the movie adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's novel that will be released in theaters on June 22, 2012. Right now though, film production is still in process. Despite the fact that Lincoln definitely did not kill any vampires during his lifetime, the film's director, Timur Bekmambetov, and the entire cast of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter are attempting to promote top historical accuracy while realistically including fantasy elements like vampires. New York Times ran an article on May 10th of this year, emphasizing how far the crew is going to combine history and fiction so that the audience will receive a blow of full credibility from the settings, the costumes, and the actors' performances. According to production designer François Audouy, the vampires' physical appearance is still being left a mystery—however, it's more than likely than they will be given a non-Twilight look. The Times post also features more details on the plot and the extent of the film's $70 million budget with a very enthusiastic production team. Benjamin Walker is playing the President as shown in the two photos released, one a movie still and the other a set photo with the director himself.

True Blood Season 4 Trailer
After much anticipation from fans of True Blood, the season 4 trailer has been released and the cast appears to be the same as in Season 3. It seems obvious from the trailer that season 4 will be full of more blood, sexual tension, and love triangles, and of course, battles between werewolves and vampires.

The Iron Lady Belongs To The Weinstein Company
It's official: an all-night auction at Cannes has made The Weinstein Company the owner of U.S. distribution rights to The Iron Lady. The deal for the Pathe picture was worth near $7 millon, chased also by Summit, Relativity Media, and Fox Searchlight. Despite two other bids of $6 million on the table for The Iron Lady, Harvey Weinstein closed it with Ron Burkle and David Glasser after Pathe's clips of five minute footage aroused numerous bidders.

The Amazing Spider-Man Photos
More photos from the set of Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man have arrived to heighten the excitement of moviegoers around the world. Andrew Garfield is starring as Peter Parker in lieu of the now familiar Tobey Maguire, while Emma Stone is Gwen Stacy and Martin Sheen plays Uncle Ben. Also joining the cast is Rhys Ifans as a nemesis of Spider-Man, The Lizard (Dr. Connors). The photos cover three scenes filmed at Peter Parker’s house on Fuller Place and Prospect Avenue in Brooklyn. One of the scenes featured Uncle Ben and Peter Parker, another Peter and Gwen Stacy, and the third a conversation between Peter and Dr. Connors.
