I'm wheelchair bound and was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy Type 2 at an early age. This has resulted in plenty of free time throughout my life to feverishly experience and write about films, gaming, wrestling, and more.
Forget David Cage's Heavy Rain and Rockstar's L.A. Noire. If you want to experience murder mysteries like no other, look for Swery and his latest lovably weird masterpiece, D4.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is an accurately flashy rendition of the Anime's stylized combat, but the single player modes get repetitive fast and leave something to be desired.
The effects of Boardwalk Empire's seven year time jump have been felt all throughout season five, but not to the degree as they do in episode three, titled "What Jesus Said." The focal point of this episode isn't even on Nucky or any of the other gangsters, but rather an extended character examination of the now escaped prisoner Chalky, and his new partner in crime.
Konami made this announcement in the form of a playable demo on the PlayStation 4 called P.T, or Playable Teaser. If you haven't played it yet I advise you go do so, because it is easily one of the most horrifying experiences you will ever have playing a game. Hell, that short 15 minute demo might be one of the scariest things on the planet, period.
There hasn't been much news lately on D4, but at this year's Tokyo Game Show it appears we are getting the best possible news one could receive; the game is launching far sooner than expected. How soon? Try tomorrow. Keep in mind that this isn't the whole game, but rather the prologue and the first two episodes. After a huge drought of news on the project though I don't see reason to complain.
2K Games has officially announced that its targeted late October release date for WWE 2K15 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has been pushed to November 18th domestically and November 21st internationally. This comes as disappointing news for gamers and wrestling fans alike, but it isn't too uncommon for the first entry of a franchise in a new generation of consoles to not have its launch date align with its last generation counterparts. More work is often required thanks to the new technology.
Mere weeks after an expansion for the fourth installment in the franchise titled Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell was revealed, creative director Steve Jaros has opted to leave Volition and explore new business ventures over at Valve. Jaros obviously played a crucial role in shaping the style and tone of the Saints Row series into the irreverent and idiosyncratic ball of chaotic fun that we know it as today, so it'll be interesting to see where whoever picks up the reigns decides to take the next game. It is also worth noting that Jaros had worked for Volition for 10 years before making the decision to leave. He also left the following message on Twitter which you can read below:
Grand Theft Auto V is still expected to be released on the new generation of consoles this November, but PC gamers will have to patiently suffer through another delay before they get their hands on the game. At least this time though, it's a much shorter delay, with the new date set for January 27th, 2015.
Boardwalk Empire returns this week with "The Good Listener," an episode focused on Nucky heading back to New York City from Cuba in an effort to find out who attempted to assassinate him during the season premiere. That's not all that he's up to this week, though, as he's also meeting up with partners to get his distribution of Bacardi Rum off the ground, because if he can, it might just be his ticket out of this dangerous lifestyle.
What's the solution when your game is criticized every year for being the exact same as the last? Take that same game and throw in a co-op element, of course!
