Forbes has released their annual list of the highest-paid actors and the common denominator throughout the list is Netflix and the amount of money they are willing to pay to have a major star headline one of their movies.
You know, Nicolas Cage gets a lot of criticism for acting in straight-to-digital movies these days. But for every Vengeance: A Love Story or The Humanity Bureau, he sprinkles in little seen gems like Mandy and Color Out of Space as well as a memorable performance in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. But back in 2005 when Constantine came out, fans of the DC/Vertigo comic were less than pleased with two aspects of Reeves’ performance. The first was that he wasn’t going to be British and the second was that he would not be wearing the signature brown coat from the comics.
Here’s a crazy what-if in the world of movie casting. The Rock revealed on Instagram that he was strongly considered to play Willy Wonka in Tim Burton’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the remake of the Billy Wilder classic from the ‘70s.
There's been a lot of revealing material coming out of this weekend's Justice Con. Whether it was a new clip from Zack Snyder’s Justice League featuring Superman in a black suit, the release date for the first teaser trailer or Ray Fisher doubling down on his harsh words for Joss Whedon, the event was certainly insightful.
