The massive Vietnam expansion releases tomorrow for DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company 2. To whet our appetite for now, here is a pretty epic pre-release trailer accompanied by the obligatory Creedence Clearwater Revival music.
With only three weeks left in the chart year, Eminem is on pace to become the first artist to have the year's best selling album twice since Nielsen/SoundScan began tracking sales for Billboard in 1991. According to Yahoo! Music, 'Recovery' has sold 3,146,000 copies since its release in June, nearly as many copies as last year's sales winner, Talyor Swift's 'Fearless' sold in the entire calendar year (3,217,000).
Trevell Coleman, better known as G-Dep, turned himself in and confessed to a 1993 murder due to a guilty conscience. Coleman was one of the better known rappers signed to Diddy's (then Puff Daddy/ P. Diddy) Bad Boy Records label in the late 1990's and early 2000's and is most known for the single, Let's Get It with Diddy and Black Rob in 2001 as well as his solo album 'Child of the Ghetto' released the same year.
The internet has been abuzz about 'Titan', Blizzard's follow up to the ridiculously successful World of Warcraft franchise. Well now Blizzard has opened their mouths on the game...just a little.
Here's a new trailer for the upcoming fighter Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. Not much to say here, there was no new character reveals nor any gameplay. Still, any scrap of information or video gets me more excited for this release. The game will release on February 15th, 2011.
There's alot of controversy surrounding this album with some of Michael Jackson's family and fans saying that what we are hearing on some of the songs is not actually Michael Jackson but an impersonator. However, as a reviewer it's my duty to try to not let any of my personal opinion on that bias my review and so I'm going to try to judge this on the music itself.
In a press release today, South Peak Games revealed the new box art for Two Worlds II. Also announced was an additional pre-order offer. If you pre-order the game between now and the January 25th release at any authorized retailer, you'll receive $10 off and a free Two Worlds II t-shirt. Sweet! And I should note that this offer is in addition to any any other deal the retailer is already offering.
After releasing together 'Below the Heavens', one of my favorite hip hop albums of the last five years, the two California artists reunite and put out this song and video called Seasons. This was a self-produced video in true indie fashion but don't let the low-budget look fool you. Blu is one of the most intelligent rappers out there and Exile is smooth with the beats as always.
That's right. The Half-Life 2 mod project that started over five years ago to turn the Source engine into an HD PC remake of the most beloved first-person shooter of all time, GoldenEye 64, is finally out of the beta stage and ready for the public to dig into.
Are either of these two rappers still relevant? Is this decade-long beef that single-handedly ruined Ja Rule's career still relevant? Apparently so. After Ja Rule pleaded guilty today for attempted criminal possession of a weapon in regards to a charge in 2007 and being sentenced to two years in prison, his long-time Queens nemesis tweeted about it.
